If BN needs to hear from his agent hey they are looking to fire you he is even more stupid that he already appears (note this is really really difficult). If that guy doesnt know the sword of Damocles is hanging close...well come to think of it...its Billy who cant figure out our offense sucks and it is 100000% his fault...so maybe his agent does in fact actually need to inform his things aint great in G-town.

I don’t believe he’ll be back anything under 9-3, which ain’t happening. Odds are very small Napier is the coach in 2026. Stricklin would be in a very precarious position. If he did this and Napier continued to underperform it would ruin any legacy he might have.

Sark is not going to leave Texas for BYU, at least until they give him a gazillion dollars to leave town.

Maybe Dan Mullen has learned his lessons and we could bring him back.
I don't hate the idea. UNLV is 5-0 and they are never going to be in the NC conversation.
    We're paying him anyway.

Will be interesting to see how this year plays out for him. Another playoff appearance and he might be up there for big openings at end of year. Would he leave his alma mater?

He can lose to FSU and still win the SEC and make the playoffs. He just can’t take another SEC loss.

That being said we aren’t running the SEC table

Agree. That stumble at Miss St hurt. They’ve had 2 good wins in the last couple of games though. Their schedule out is not daunting. They only lost that playoff game last year to Texas by a TD. He should be in the mix here when there is an opening. He would do very well with much better offensive talent like Florida has, imho. Yes, I think he would make the jump.

He had so much potential…the first 2.75 seasons were fun.

Second only to SOS as a play caller and designer. Remember, we were expecting Dak-style option offense, but ended up with something more comparable to the FnG. Dude could coach. Recruiting? Not so much.

This is what frustrates me (probably most of us). Muschamp was a great DC, and his Defenses were great here, but O sucked. Mullen was a great OC, and his Offense was great here, but his D sucked. Napier isn't a great OC, but that's his background and yet his offense sucks. His defenses weren't great either, but to be fair they are doing well now (after 2.5 years on the job).

This is very encouraging that it would give the new coach plenty of time to meet with players to sell his vision of a new coaching regime.
