“That Florida upended Texas is a surprise, to be sure, but not like realizing the guy from "White Lotus" also played Uncle Rico in "Napoleon Dynamite." We could, after all, have seen this coming. Billy Napier is college football's Jason Voorhees -- drown, hacked, flambéed and forced to watch all the entire DVD collection of "According to Jim," and yet he keeps coming back. Napier cannot be felled by conventional weapons. Florida will only be able to fire him after enlisting the help of witch doctors, paranormal psychologists and Auburn boosters. Napier is like "Grey's Anatomy," a thing you're shocked to learn is somehow still going each new college football season.”

The play calls were better, but the conservative calls , after taking the lead and the clock and game management are severely lacking. If he could only stop being stubborn and hire an offensive coordinator and concentrate on the other stuff, this could still be a good year

    lol

“In reality, it was woeful UCLA, 0-4 entering the game, a team that had fired its head coach and had turned to Jerry Neuheisel for offensive playcalling -- a man who had never so much as worn the headset on the sideline before and who had tragically lost the finals of the All Valley Karate Tournament to Daniel LaRusso.”

Still, it's USC and the first choice for most kids in LA. Miami West. And he brought a bunch of players with him to boot. Personally, I'd be more interested in the current OC at Oklahoma.

Watching Gator FB under BN has been brutal! He is such a drag that it's exhausting to witness. He is dead weight.

That atmosphere in the Swamp yesterday was incredible. It came right through the tv. Something tells me that the recruits that opted to go to the clown game instead of ours have a bit of regret. Great job showing up and showing out Gator fans!! It looked awesome!

What are y’all’s thoughts on the Miami OC? Would he be a potential target?

I don’t believe Napier wants an OC.

Sometimes we've been unlucky in who was available in the coaching pool and other times we just missed. It's a crap shoot, but this talent shouldn't lose to USF.

The biggest issue is the offside. It was amateur.

I can also multi task. I can simultaneously enjoy a win over a historic program AND want the program to move forward by getting rid of a coach that has led us to unprecedented insignificance.

Meant would he be a good target for HC if our beloved university were to have that as a job opening.

As posted before. Year 4 in a put up or shut up season and a team with this kind of talent advantage loses at home. Maybe the worst of several unacceptable losses under his watch.

This is as good of a place as any.

If you could replace Napier with James Franklin, 4 years in the tenure, same resources as we had, and the same pay schedule, would you be content as to what has transpired with Franklin and his brain farts and his team? Or would we be talking about who to replace him now?

Kind of a trick question. I’d say heck no. But I’m biased against him for some reason. If you just asked if I’d want a 10 win coach I’d say definitely

That's a great question. Franklin won games at a .703 clip at Penn State. Would that be considered mediocre?

Its exhausting...Muschamps offense is like fun and gun compared to Billys. Kind of like having a testicle in a vice and just when you thought the misery couldnt get any worse he turns the vice just a quarter turn.
