The Cato Institute released an analysis of the CECOT detainees that the government claims are illegal immigrants who are members of Tren de Aragua, a Venezuelan street game that they falsely tried to tie to the Venezuelan government (a tie that their own analysis disproved). To abide by the new posting rules, here is a link to the report via the author's verified Twitter account: Here are key quotes from the report: Now, as I pointed out in another thread, this would appear to meet the definition of a Crime Against Humanity. According to the Rome Statutes, there are 11 crimes that can be considered Crimes Against Humanity: Murder, Extermination, Enslavement, Deportation or Transfer of an Entire Population, Imprisonment in violation of International Laws, Torture, Systematic Sexual Violence, Persecution of national, racial, political, ethnic, cultural, or gender group, Enforced Disappearance, Other Acts causing severe suffering to a population. It would appear that this policy could reasonable be characterized as "Enforced Disappearance" as there is no record as to whom was sent nor were families informed of the incarceration. It would also appear that this is Imprisonment in violation of International Laws, as we have imprisoned people in a foreign country without due process who have not been charged with or convicted of any violation of the law, including immigration law. It also appears to violate the Deportation clause, as many of these people were legally in the country. You could also make a reasonable argument that sending these folks to a prison in which torture regularly occurs at that prison where we have sent many men who have never been convicted or even charged with a crime. As such, it appears that the Trump Administration has committed a Crime Against Humanity.
Can any MAGA here defend sending people to prison, possibly for life, without a court conviction? How about sending them to CECOT without even being arrested and charged with a crime?
So this wasnt a coincidence? Trump’s Full-Scale Assault on the International Criminal Court *It should be noted the US has never been a member of the court, for obvious reasons (every American president is a war criminal).
It's completely legal using habeas corpus. Habeas corpus is a constitutional right that the president has to be able to remove people from this country.
Nothing says Venezuelan gang member like a gay makeup artist and hair stylist who has tattoos with crowns over the words "Mom" and "Dad" in English...
I have yet to see any red hat use logic or reasoning. Replies to this might include: “But Biden” Vaccines have microchips J6 was a tour The airplanes poison us with fluoride
Not a single MAGA fan has answered the question. This is my shocked face. To reiterate the question. Should someone who has never been convicted of a crime in a court of law, let alone never even charged with a crime be put in jail, possibly for life?
