“He gets places easy, and I’m not quite sure how he does it, right?” Nick Nurse said of Nembhard.
    “I’m trying to figure it out. I think it’s just this herky-jerky - he’s got this head-fake - he’s in, he’s out,
he’s over, he’s around. All of a sudden, he’s into some clear space. He’s got a funky game a little bit.”

    Andrew making us proud.
What I want to know is why was he part of the 2nd unit? o_O

I believe most of his teammates are either current NBA players or at least very productive 4 year college players. Good to see him still shining through.

Great description of his play. It’s hard to guard once he takes the next step in aggression - which might be taking place right now.

While I loved the fraction of a season that JWill had here I am thinking that AN might be our best PG ever.

And that is a lot of good PGs.

Jason had the highlight passes but Calathes was a better passer. If he didn't have bigs like Tyus with bricks for hands he would've averaged 9-10 asst per game at UF.

Tyus was a darn good player and an efficient scorer.

IMO, there are a lot of PG’s he needs to pass before he might be considered our best point guard ever. These include Chiozza, Wilbekin, Calathes, Roberson, Nelson, Cross, Moten, Jason Williams and some others.

Tyus had terrible hands. And largely underachieved until he was a SR. Frustrated the hell out of Billy. Really poor work eithic. I am happy he went on to a very good overseas career. Good on him!

It seems he really took the criticism he heard from NBA scouts to heart and dedicated himself to working to improve over the offseason. Can't wait to see the results in November.

Tyus didn’t play much as a freshman. In his and Nick’s sophomore year, Tyus started every game, played 26 minutes per game, averaged 12.5 ppg and had a 59.1 FG%. That was his best season at UF. Nick also played a season with Speights who averaged 14.5 ppg. Check out the big men that Chiozza played with if your looking for a point guard who was negatively affected by big men who couldn’t score.
