You didn't google it. Because if you did you'd find this.

Trans Swimmer Lia Thomas (Formerly 462th Ranked William Thomas) Takes The Gold In Ivy League Women's Championships By 7 Full Seconds

    Or this.

It's Time to Get Serious About Saving Girls' and Women's Sports

    Just be honest.

Nope. What you posted appears to be incomplete. My data has the times you posted plus others. 24th as a man to 1st as a women.

And sure, show me where you SAY "trans swimmers shouldn't swim against women". I'll wait.

Frankly I fear that ship has sailed at this point.

Frankly I think it goes far beyond hormones. An average height male (50th percentile) at age 20 years old having gone through puberty is the height of a 99th percentile adult woman. Take that to mean at least half of the men in the population are taller than 99% of women. An average weight 20 year old male weighs more than about 90% of all women. Neither of those really take into account things like bone density, amount of muscle fiber, etc. Some of those things just can't be undone or effectively mitigated.

How many freshman swam a faster time even on your list?

I didn't say that I made a blanket statement either way. I stated that the governing board should be in charge of regulating it based on evidence. I am not on the governing board. Which is my position, not that they should or shouldn't. I trust the governing board for swimming to make the proper decision involving swimming. And if they decide that trans people should or shouldn't be allowed in certain events or even overall, that is fine by me as long as it is based in evidence.

What does freshman have to do with anything? Moving the goalposts LOL. At least admit you were full of crap. And I love the "blanket statement" bit. Too funny. Just admit you are good with Lia Thomas beating the women. It says a lot about you.

Do you think people don't become better swimmers later in their career? You are trying to use improvement in position as evidence of something. But, and I'm not sure why this is surprising given that it is true in every sport but women's gymnastics, people improve during their college career. For example, Robert Finke was 12th in the 1650 in his freshman year. 3 years later, he was winning the distance freestyle events at the Olympics.

This is why discussing issues with you isn't worth it. You are incapable of even trying to be honest about other people's positions and just invent them when you think they are helpful to you. I have stated my position clearly and you continue to misrepresent it because you would prefer that I have a "hotter take" for you to argue against rather than my more nuanced position on the issue. Let me know when you want to start being honest about my actual position (which is, again, that the governing board should investigate the issue and make evidence-based regulations).

Just own that you moved the goalposts and you back Lia Thomas. Everyone sees it. Stop being a wet noodle and own it. The best part is I know you won't. You can't admit you lied. Tough one sport.

"Stop being a wet noodle" translates to "Take my preferred position for you." No thanks, I'll stick with my position rather than the one you wish I would take. You can continue arguing against strawmen, but I think my position on this issue is clear to anybody who is actually trying to be honest (a set that does not include you).

I support honesty. Therefore, I don't support you, sport. I could respond with my position for a 5th time, but it won't be your preferred position, so you will claim something else anyways. So it isn't worth it.

And without doing mental gymnastics that'll be how most folks land.

Burn! It's ok, not everyone is good at comedy. Maybe it's just not your thing, like commenting on Trans swimmers or covid LOL.

I wasn't going for comedy. If I was, I'd ask you "How was the wedding?" and laugh at you again.

It's not hard to grasp. Some on here support trans swimmers(MD) and some realize that it's a joke(most of the rest of us).

We all tend to get fairness at a very early age. I understand feelings and all, but there is a line.

I'd assume the best way is to let the "market" dictate programming content. They want to make money. If I don't like it or a scene I choose something else or FF the program. I mean I have my dong or gay sex scene tolerance meter pretty much set to zero. People can do what they want, but that doesn't mean I want to watch. That's what the FF button is for. Or if that's pretty much what the whole program is about, nope, next show. It's a win win for everyone.

Yep, it's evident by those opposing it on this thread.

The fact that people even remotely support allowing biological males to compete with females is crazy to me. Not only do want the right to transition (I have zero issue there) but damn it I also demand the right to beat these gals in sports. It’s my “right”. Laughable it’s even a discussion.
