The US Navy is investigating videos purportedly shot during a 2019 fundraiser at The National Navy SEAL Museum in Florida, showing a demonstration where K-9 dogs attacked a man wearing a Colin Kaepernick football jersey.

The videos, which have since been removed, were posted on Instagram in January 2019 and feature a man called Josh, acting as a target for several dogs. The clips were apparently shot at a Navy Seal Museum fundraising event in January 2019 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

The first video caption states that 'Colin Kaepernick stand in Josh gets attacked by 5 Navy SEAL dogs for not standing during the National Anthem at a Navy SEAL Museum fundraiser.'

The SEALs Twitter account went on to state that it is investigating the incident 'fully' and noted that 'initial indications are that there were no active duty Navy personnel or equipment involved with this independent organization’s event.'

Before the Floyd riots, it was perfectly fine to say or do these kind of things. Thankfully, many Americans have decided that this is no longer acceptable. There are many who will love this video and the imagery it presents, however.

The dogs were fired and the museum apologized and promised to hire more dogs who attack people wearing Mike Ditka jerseys.

    Really,
That’s some sick shit! This macho aggressiveness is needed in an extremely narrow field of human activity, but when it widens and takes aim at those who don’t share their view - that the world is a hostile and violent place and everyone is a potential enemy - then they are trouble ..... scary trouble because of their skills.

I was referring to the SEALs not the dogs.

What part do you disagree with? I don’t like the Kap Jersey use here. Sick. I think it would be ok if they they put an Army football jersey on as for fun of the Army-Navy rivalry. If that is not ok, I stand corrected.

I’m no Kaepernick fan but this seems to me to be = that stupid comedienne who held Trump’s head after a simulated decapitation.... A little worse in fact as this is the government against an identifiable citizen

now, if the staff sergeant is a Rams fan I can see the point.... I kid, I kid.

Maybe the target should have worn the Malcolm X-Fidel Castro t-shirt Kaepernick proudly wore at a post game press conference back in 2016. Yeah, complain about oppression in America and then praise a Communist leader who killed thousands of Cubans. And maybe they could have added the police-as-pigs socks Kaepernick would also wear in front of the press.

Kaepernick is the definition of a hypocrite. I personally wish the Navy would have used Kaepernick himself to fend off the dogs instead of a stand-in.
