Baylors defense held 4 plays from the one foot line to win the game...bring that DC right now. Granthams defense would have had two sacks and then gave up the TD on 3rd and 22.

Ron Roberts, he was the DC for CBN at ULL before coming over to Baylor. He and Dave Aranda are very tight, unlikely to leave there now.

can’t believe I’m defending him, but to be fair, Grantham’s defense stopped UGA SEVEN times from the one a few years ago. That said, your scenario was more likely than mine happening again :p

I don't know who the dude is that is the DC of Michigan, but I REALLY like the way his defense is playing against Iowa... He's a young guy and he has them absolutely swarming and on their toes....

Juluke will recruit well and hopefully help us grab Citizen or Etienne.

Both of those were the coaches most were hoping for, though I think Toney not as DC. If he’s co-DC and we can get a legit one that is ok being a co-DC too I’m good with that.

I mean that would never be an option. Michigan would just pay up for him. I agree though they’ve been great. Turns out getting competent assistants can turn the tide in a program.

Just saw an article saying Napier will go after Georgia offensive line coach..that would be huge. Im not sure what he will think of our guys who seem more intent to get pushed backward and fall on their asses instead of paving the the road but he will have his work cut out for him changing their mentality. Hope its true though. As a FYI I will say I do think the Georgia strength coach would come home to Florida if Napier wanted him...hope he asks.

What new Florida football coach Billy Napier said about hiring Louisiana assistant coaches

Harbaugh is more of a total HC than Mullen. So the staff revamp worked. Will Mullen have reinvented himself? Hard to tell.

According to the Yahoo article, these coaches are coming to UF unless they get offered the head job at ULL or take another job offer.

Patrick Toney - DC at ULL
Jabbar Juluke - RB at ULL
Michael Desormeaux - Tight ends / Co-OC at ULL
Tim Leger - Receivers / Co-OC at ULL

Not surprised he wants some continuity from guys he trusts.

Also wouldn't be surprised if he keeps a few current Gators staff.

Its all about getting to ESD.

Doubt Brady gets any consideration. Not that he’s a bad coach, but it doesn’t appear he has any ties to Napier. Very rare for a coach to hire someone he’s never worked with, especially a first time HC trying to build his culture.

I also wonder if Brady just caught lightning in a bottle with Burrow, aside from that one season his coaching history isn’t very long or impressive
