My buddy lives in Ohio on buckeye lake. He’s 73. He contacted the covid virus in February and it hit him hard for about two weeks. He rode it out at home. Fully recovered

His wife got it from him. She’s lost taste and smell. She’s slowly getting better. She didn’t start showing symptoms until he was about over it. That’s about a month afterwards.

From what I’m reading and hearing from infected friends is covid last longer than the flu.

Does anyone know the length of covid vs the flu?

I think it depends, I know when I had the flu bad last year I was in bed for over a week and then it took another entire week to fully recover to normal.

Do you ever wonder if anyone died as a result of you continuing to go about your business for 2-3 weeks infecting others?

Exactly. Even if you suspected you had the flu exposing God knows how many others to it is so selfish. I don't know how easy it is for lawyers to push things back though so I reserve judgement on TheGator.

Amen. Eagle county reopen yesterday. Our states approach is counties apply showing cases, testing approaches, hospital capacity & a plan for dealing with a spike. Our stay at home thingy ends Sunday. It’s better to do it in a safe, systematic way. We can’t forget the lessons of prohibition

that’s Vail. One of the initial hotspots for obvious reasons. Also Eagle is home to the modern day ghost town of Gilman

I appreciate and respect your comments but if the Z Pac worked (and you never said one way or the other), your symptoms from a bacterial infection and not from covid19 (and you easily could have had both).

Ironically. we were in NY for a week visiting our daughter at the same time in December. In January my wife was sick, had the worst cough I've seen her with in 30+ years. Miserable. Lasted for 3 weeks-saw our MD and tested negative for the flu. I had minor symptoms but not near as serious as my wife. She thinks she had covid and I don't know enough to disagree, maybe we both did.

Glad you're feeling better and you're kind to donate plasma.

Polis extended it to May 8th. He has been exceptional in his press conferences and tackling of all of this.

Z-PAC is being prescribed to a lot of COVID19 patients. The magical formula being passed around is the hydroxychloroquine, Zinc and Z-Pac. As my doctor says, my chart in February looked like a typical case. If I went to the doctor now with the same symptoms, he would certainly have me tested.

However, my doctor stated there is are no guarantees I had it in February. I could have been exposed at any other time but was just asymptomatic.

I would try to reach out to your doctor again and see if he will order an antibody test. I believe the antibody test is being offered throughout the country now. It certainly makes me feel better that I may be immune. I know some will argue otherwise, but the chances of me getting it again are small.
