That's just part of it. Trump brought billionaire buddy Musk into the White House to have a lying contest. Trump is the heavyweight champion and Elon "40%" Musk is the challenger. Musk's one advantage is that Trump is too old now to come up with good coherent lies. Though his following, of course, still believes everything he says.

How DOGE’s grand plan to remake Social Security is backfiring
The agency is abandoning an initiative aimed at preventing fraud, the latest example of a failed effort by Elon Musk’s disruptive cost-cutting team.

What percentage of fraud is acceptable for you, to provide SS to yourself and our fellow Americans?

ZERO fraud is acceptable... especially in government.

Since it is now unequivocable that DOGE/Musk is a fraud. what would you do with that at this juncture?

Are you willing to fund what it would take to get to zero?

By your previous comments, you don’t seem to want to fund government enough to reach that goal.

Your words sound hypocritical to me.

This comment makes about as much sense; as most of your statements.

You are the person that demands zero fraud in government; while declining to state what you are willing to support to reach that goal.

I don’t have a problem with supporting zero fraud in government, yet I know it comes with a cost.

If you saw two cockroaches in your house, would you burn the whole house down? It would get rid of the cockroaches. Or would you just hire a couple of cockroach policemen to patrol the house day and night and shoot any bugs they find with a shotgun? Is panic and desperation typically your first response to a problem? Or maybe you could teach the kids or wife to identify the bugs and have them removed. (Not dramatic enough?)

The fraud is in disability and Medicare, but with Medicare it’s the doctors and clinics doing the fraud. If they were serious they would have started with the biggest $$$ doing claims and audited the outliers. A real audit, not having some 20yo sort a database or find old databases records with blank fields and pretend that alone is indicative of some massive fraud.

Cutting off granny’s ability to use a phone? Pretending there’s a bunch of fake 150 year olds just collecting benefits into perpetuity? That nonsense was never a serious effort to find fraud.

So he messed up a whole bunch of stuff, wasted billions. Fired a bunch of people. Trump doesn't care. Elon had to get something for his $280 million.

Well, besides all that free data and those massive government contracts, that is.

Heck just pull up the old 60 minutes piece on SSI and law firms cashing in. I think the closing comments were 50% of the audience will be outraged and 50% will sign up.
