The main thing I got out of his statements was that if stop turning the ball over, we win games. He's looking for consistency in reduced turnovers. Status quo among all else, including stating QB.
When coaches don’t know what else to do, they blame everything on turnovers. Good teams turn the ball over too. They just have the ability to overcome mistakes.
And we probably won't have these many turnovers in the LSU game if the right QB was starting in the 1st place. If he's really taking accountabilities, but don't want to throw anybody else under the bus, at least he can say he messed up the QB rotation and he should have played AR more from the beginning, things like that.
I am already done with the guy so any statements like this don't really move the needle for me, personally. I don't think he should be canned yet but think / hope it's a foregone conclusion in the next year or so.
Yeah, I don’t know too many people that would voluntarily walk away from 2M a year. You stay until you fix it or you are given your pink slip. This isn’t on TG. It’s on Mullen. He is the one that makes staff decisions.
Doubt it. Likely waits to watch film, talk to coaches and gives a little time from the last game so his emotions do not get the best of him which lead to stupid comments.
Exactly....that statement is nowhere near accountability nor an apology. Mullen won't/can't make changes nor own up to his lack of managing anything. He's a reluctant leader so we need to cut bait and get a real football coach now.
Taking actions is taking accountability. What he is doing is talking accountability. There is no money or contract issues with TG. If you let a wound linger it festers. This is all to protect TG. His pal. Fire TG and the other weak tits. Our future, recruiting and your personal survivability as our HC are what's at stake. If he truly wants to be elite he needs to do what elite coaches do. Do whatever it takes to build a playoff juggernaut.

OK sure. uh huh BTW get real. CDM won 10 games and 11 games in first two years. Sleeping beauty slept for 100 years. You're gonna beat that record.
Not so much accountability, stating the obvious. Can’t be a good team committing penalties, turnovers, etc. Doesn’t every coach and fan base in America want consistency? This comes with practice/preparation, then translates into play on the field.
