Unbelievable!!! Our coach is basically condoning and encouraging this crap! Guess our players are just gonna be morons and we’ll just have to accept it....

what a waste of a teachable moment. This dude is turning out to be a total clown.

Yeah, if you post no link, your post is more worthless than a Muschamp offense.

Sorry I know Twitter doesn’t work for some of you. He said it during Championship teleconference.

He doesn't like to publicly throw players/staff under the bus nor will he call 'em out, we all should know this by now

But not sure exactly what some people want him to do? Give Marco a purple and yellow shoe for Christmas?

If that's his take, then he doesn't need to talk anymore about the Gator Standard. He had a chance to make a statement to the younger Gators as to what is and isn't acceptable, and he chose to excuse unsportsmanlike conduct penalties as being okay.

Actually I did and the only reference I saw was his post-game conference. I don't have a Twitter account (and never will). But Marin posted it above. It's coach-speak and will probably have a talk with Marco tomorrow. Not like Saban who would have called him out in the media. Pretty sure Spurrier would have done it too.

You don't know that he has or hasn't. Some coaches call players and coaches out in public and some don't. If the players by next Saturday say Dan was laughing it up and didn't do anything about it, then you have your answer.

That isn't taunting BTW. He stopped the play from continuing. It's the same call if he had kicked the football into the stands.

Remember McElwain's sideline talk with Kelvin Taylor after a 15-yard throat slash? Of course McElwain's tantrum was totally out of character and probably just for show. (Mac closed the show after that one performance. He was no Nick Saban.) But a tone-down version would have been well deserved. And Taylor's mistake didn't cost us a game (and possibly more) like throwing a shoe 20 yards did.

I guess we have to get used to being a 2 loss team and a possible new years 6 bowl team. Until Grantham is fired, thats our ceiling. Mullen can call out the QB all he wants, scoring 34 or more in any game is more than enough, this Gator standard crap he talks about is eye rolling.

It would be better if you didn't misquote what he said before you call him a clown. He did not say throwing the shoe was a football move. Seems the original poster is a clown.
