No doubt. He was absent for most of the football season, but then made a brief appearance. I don't recall hearing from him during the hoops season. Hope he's alright.

I hope he didn't get an extended vacation. Can't imagine how that could be. He was left-handed, but not offensive. Some of the bannings lately have been odd.

Naw, if I was Themi I’d have posted about the anthropological reasons why Italians like Marconi and Tesla were so I involved in the development of wireless communication or something like that!

I heard if you stare into the mirror, and repeat his name 3 times, Themistocles will pay you a personal “visitation.”

I think one of the issues for Stricklin and the UAA is that this is literally impossible to answer. I was going to say that it's "difficult" to quantify the effect of not having the Rowdies on camera all game, but in reality I'm pretty sure it's impossible to quantify that. How many recruits does that cost us? How many games does it cost us because it cost us recruits? How much money does it cost the program to lose those games because of the lost recruits?

Answering those questions requires a Themistocles-esque grasp of metaphysics. Or some comic book plot device that allows you to travel to a parallel universe where we have the camera platforms reversed. Which, I have to be honest, seems like a really boring use of a magic science machine.

By contrast, the cost of flipping the cameras (whatever it turns out to be) is very real and very concrete. It's an assistant coach for the football team or multiple assistants for the non-revenue sports. And if you're going to spend very real money, you want a very real, very quantifiable return.

    All true.

But couldn't you argue that nearly every upgrade done within the renovation was without a 'quantifiable return'?
Were we able to calculate how many more seats we would sell by enhancing the lobby area? Or adding a laser light show? Or investing in the scoreboard?

UAA can put a special “donate to the Camera Flip” button on their donations page. I wish they would do more of that for special pet projects.

This can happen when you don't have all of the right people in place when project PFMEAs are done. Keep in mind who owns, pays and donates money. It ain't the students!

Themi also has another poster name, Micerit I believe??? I just checked registered posters and can’t find either name any longer. Must have inactivated account or someone pissed off and caused his departure?
