Trump signs were indicative of potential threats and violence against FEMA employees as MAGA villainized FEMA

A very small number did, but aid was not withheld as Bill is suggesting.

Quit being such a victim. You Trumpers are always the victim of something.

But if a member of a very large organization does something that the organization doesn't condone .... and the organization immediately disavows, punishes, condemns the culpable person ..... then that indicates the conduct of a specific individual, not an organization.

Absurd to even have to make this point.

^ Not that Trumpers care a single bit about the politicization of disaster relief. They just care when it happens to them.

    See Trump and California.

I don’t think NC prepared at all. In FL when a hurricane is coming everything gets staged in advance. NC did no such thing because they likely expect storms to largely dissipate.

I can tell you the weather forecasts up there did NOT anticipate that level of rain, what happened was a front interacted with the hurricane. So it was like two major rain events back to back. We were watching the hurricane and wanted no part of being there in the general area. But that rain event wasn’t really part of the local weather forecasts until about the day before once it was clear the hurricane path and front were going to interact ( and I think the front stalled). Even then I never saw a single person prepare. I was reading the Asheville Reddit the night before and people were like “yeah, we are effed” and they were trying to figure out how much it would beat previous records by. So maybe some got up early the next morning for short term preparation/supplies. But nobody was preparing days out like people typically do in FL now, and there was really no reason to given the weather forecasts.

I suspect the residents of Fla will disagree with the gov if disaster hits as it has recently.

Bill. If i fire one person for being evil that doesnt make my organization evil. It makes my organization good for firing the evil person.

You responded to a post about NC, where I live and work for an organization very involved in aiding our residents out west.

Your Florida link is "off topic".

Writing bills to fix FEMA. He proposed a bill in 2023 and 2024. There's a reason that Desantis appointed a Democrat to run FL's emergency services. There's a reason that Trump had him on a list of people he was considering to run FEMA

You really think Trump thought he created the word "equalize"?

There are 2 sites in South Africa where crosses are erected each time a white farmer (or family member) is murdered. I'm assuming Trump was referring to one of those sites. 30 years ago there were 120,000 white commercial farmers in South Africa. Today there are 32,000 who feed 70 million people, according to the below poster on X. Here's another one of his posts:
