This is the first time I've watched Memphis all year. And man does Miller coach from the sideline. He seems to coach more than Penny does. Sure looks like he's going to be a head coach really soon.

Still 6min left, but Memphis gettin' its butt beat. Looks like Wichita St is back to being a moderately good team.

Without Wiseman, I thoroughly expect Memphis to underwhelm all season. I just don't see it with Penny outside of the recruiting prowess. Losing Wiseman pretty much sunk their season in terms of them being legit. They'll win enough games in that conference to make the tourney. That's about it. Mike might want to consider moving on before things get sleazier there and his reputation gets stained.

I'll be curious to see how well Penny is still recruiting once he's not been an AAU coach for a few years

    I agree.
Penny, apparently, isn’t well liked or much respected within coaching circles.

Penny can't coach. He's got to help relocate families with star players, no time for coaching. I'm shocked he even is on the sidelines for games.

Two assistant coaches, Miller being one of them, appeared to be doing most of the sideline coaching during gameplay. I have never seen anything like it, though I can't say I always watch sidelines that closely.

wherever Skinny ends up as a head coach, I'm going to become a fan. I watched him really actively coaching in that Wichita game while Penny stood there like a statue. He's seemingly way more game time engaged.

You don’t know how bad that I wish that would come true.
