    RIP, Meadowlark.

I had the honor of meeting him in the mid-70's, when the Globetrotters used to visit the Kutcher's Hotel's "Camp Anawana" basketball camp every summer.

My dad was the MC of their annual exhibition game.

Meadowlark was a very easy guy to talk with, and he LOVED to talk to someone at the sideline at mid-court, as he calmly drained a hook shot!

Meadowlark Lemon was born April 25, 1932, in Wilmington, N.C. His given name was Meadow Lemon lll, according to his website, but various accounts say his birth name was George Meadow Lemon. He legally changed his name to Meadowlark in the 1950s.

He is survived by his 10 children.

    He died in 2015, actually.

Nice to remember him in a new thread, though.

    11 more days.....:emoji_thumbsup:

So, you're insisting that we stick with the traditional linear concept of time?
