Come on no one is scared to play anyone. All those years Miami said we were scared to play them?. Come on we weren’t scared , it’s just the schedule logistical nature would not work. Nobody is scared.
We go from respecting this guy for one hell of a comeback to berating him for comments he was just throwing out there because he is a kid . Are we really that classless ? I hate reading this from our fans. I read stuff from our fans during the FSU game derogatorily towards Bowden . The guy just died and we make horrible comments . What the hell is wrong with us. And we wonder why we are one of the hated programs in the nation. ?
Not going to cheer for him to turn FSU into a winner but tip of the cap for fighting back. Takes guts. I'll leave it at that.
He’s a clown. I respect him for coming back after that horrendous injury and I’m rooting for him to stay healthy, but he’s now joined the circus at FSU.
What I saw was some key transfers seemed to have held off the systemic crap that has taken over the Noles' program and want to battle for 60 minutes. That can be concerning in the future. Or they can FINALLY get acclimated to "the Nole Way".
Good with that , I feel the same way. The story here is him back on the field. He is a hell of a player. To me it’s not about FSU it’s about Milton. Just wish our fans would have some empathy. Hate seeing these feelings from our fans. It can’t be that important to berate people to this degree
Yup. Agree rooting for the kid to continue playing and making his comeback but the game thread was turning into a cheerfest for fsu Last night. Never seen anything like it on this board.
A casual reader of this board should remember all the smack he talks prior to his injury. This isn't made up. I hope he doesn't take a shot to that knee as that may have life altering consequences.
As a human being, it was a really nice story. I do think his role is to come in and try to finish a game at the end rather than start it. He looks willing but very capable of getting hurt again. Overcompensating by using muscles incorrectly or whatnot.
If you ever meet Milton in person you'd never expect he was a D1 football player, let alone a star QB. You'd assume you just met some random, reasonably fit college kid. He's no.physical specimen and by all accounts a nice, down to earth young man.
That statement from Milton is what some of you have your panties in a wad about? Big deal. What else do you expect him to say about his own team? For what it's worth, my daughter's roommate at UCF was an Athletic Training major. Part of her clinical training involved working with UCF's football team. My daughter was introduced to him by her roommate. Both of them had good things to say about the kid. Neither of them had even the slightest disparaging word about him. UCF loves him like we love Tebow. He did a great job as their starter. I hate that he became a Nole, but he took the limited opportunity he had after such a terrible injury. I can't fault him for that. Personally, I'm rooting for the kid, except when he plays the Gators. And I will take the opinions of him from people that have actually met him, saw him in social settings, and worked with him during his playing and rehabbing days, and during what was probably the lowest point of his life, over people bent out of shape because he didn't get down on one knee and kiss the Gator ring.
It was the disdain for ND more than anything. I can’t stand the fact the nose their way in to the playoff only to have their ass handed to them. Because they are ND they can kiss my tail. Yeah I was pulling for FSU , just like I would pull for Iran if they were playing ND.
