    McDonald's All-American Game superlatives

Nice to have UF players mentioned in this game again. Lewis was the best male in the slam dunk contest.

"No. 3 small forward and No. 12 overall player, Lewis (defending, above) may have to make the NBA as a 3-and-D type player, and while the three-pointer leaves a lot to be desired at this point — he did make 83 percent of his free throws in Under Armour play, so maybe there’s hope — the defensive part is
already there. Lewis piled up stocks (steals+blocks) like crazy, averaging 2.6 steals and 2.3 blocks per 40 minutes. Florida coach Mike White has terrific clay to work with in a good athlete stretched over a 6-foot-5 frame with a 6-11 wingspan, And Lewis has already earned a reputation as a top-notch defender, slowing down some of 2019’s top talents, including fellow McDonald’s All-American Jaden McDaniels."

Seeing an uncomitted Florida recruit (Precious Achiuwa) I was curious when was the last time we landed a top 3 recruit out of Florida. 2013 with Chris Walker/Kasey Hill. Crazy that it has been that long and both Nembhard and Mann are a step in the right direction.

Why are we not on his list with our lack of bigs on the roster?

i would find it difficult to root for a guy named Precious . Also wasn't a fan of Georgetown guard named God Shamgod .
Anyone remember a Memphis State forward from the 1980's named Baskerville Holmes. ( Now that's a name to root for )

I missed it dang. Turned on at the very end and heard them mentioning Scottie as a potential mvp of the game. Did see Mann hit a 3 pointer at the end. Our guys played on opposite teams. Scottie has got swag I love it. Not sure I believe there are 12 guys ranked higher than him especially with how he performed this week against elite competition.

One of the analyst suggested he might be the best two-way player in the game tonite.

I'm pretty sure Shammgod played at Providence. And it's not their faults what their parents' named them.

He's in FL, but not really a FL kid. He just transferred to Montverde this year from NY.

Scottie is going to be the real deal!

Got tons of praise from Paul Biancardi tonight. Said he was one of the most impressive players all week.

His athletism is so obvious...going to be a lock down defender and highlight reel dunker (him and Keyonte are going to be ridiculous dunkers together). Very excited about him!

I've reached out for an update to see if we still have any chance. Montverde will be playing in the Geico Nationals April 4-6 so Precious should be announcing sometime after.
