Playing tackle is probably the reason we got George through the portal. Other teams may not have guaranteed the opportunity to start at tackle. With the portal, that is something to keep in mind about keeping players happy.

Absolutely. I’m not placing all the blame on Smack. I’m just pushing back against the idiotic notion that the Arkansas loss was all Napier’s fault. As you said, there’s plenty of blame to go around

 

I'm not sure there is a corner, more like a curb with a wall on the other end. The schedule next year is brutal; I'd have Georgia and the entire Top 10 with 2 losses. There's no let up once you get past Samford. None. There are unknowns with new coaching staffs; have no idea if A&M is going to be lights out because he inherited a loaded roster. Miss St is unknown, we play Miami and FSU for OOC opponents and there's no Vandy, Mizzou or South Carolina. Might as well dump Samford and schedule Michigan while we are at it.
