Tough place to play, this is a good tester

Men win doubles point, come out a little slow in singles

Crawford loses a fist set tiebreak
Riffice crushed in his first set, and down 4-5 in second.
Vale up a set and a break, good showing
Andrade loses a first set tiebreak, on serve in second
Grief up a set and a break
Goodger blasted in first set, wins a tight second, headed to third

Should be ok, but losing 4 first sets scary on the road

Vale takes care of business to make it 2-0, but UF is in some real trouble in this one
Riffice getting destroyed in a second set tiebreak....likely to finished by time I type this
Andrade loses 3 straight games and now down a set and a break at 2-3
Grief loses serve and now on serve at 4-3
Goodger getting crushed in his 3rd set, already down 3-0

Gonna need Crawford to turn his match, and he appears to be struggling with his opponents serve

    Riffice loses, 2-1 now
    Goodger down 0-4
    Andrade down 2-4
    Grief up 5-3
    Crawford down 1-2

Need either Andrade or Crawford to force a 3rd

Grief closes it out 3 and 3, good match
Crawford gets run off the court 6-1 in his second
Goodger has fought back, down 4-5....but you have to wonder if Jo might have been a better choice today
Andrade has also dug in to lead 5-4, but still down a set.

Goodger goes down, so it's all on Andrade. Tough to complain about Coach mixing things up and keeping all roster guys involved,, but nobody has been thru more battles than Ingildsen. He might have been the better choice today in hindsight

Andrade forced to a tiebreak.....UF has lost all 3 tiebreaks played so far today (including first set of this match). Have to like his chances if he can survive here, get a little mo

Andrade fails to convert several set points and loses 9-7......hugely disappointing match. Likely means a UF team that was a frontrunner for national honors probably won't even win the conference. Would need TAMU to lose twice, unlikely.
UF has too much talent to lose 4 singles matches, 3 in straight sets. Have to hope they take something from this moving forward

Texas A&M is a very good team and even better at home. A&M's number one and two played better than we did Sunday. Riffice had beaten the kid he lost to twice during this season before today. Vale and Greif played very well. The swing matches were four and six. Goodger could not capitalize on his opportunities at six in the third set to get back on serve. Andrade had many chances to win the second set tiebreaker but could not win the point he needed. Tough to beat a very good SEC men's tennis team on the road. Don't write this team off as there is plenty of tennis yet ot be played. Georgia is better than they were last year and next Friday night's match will be as big as this one against Texas A&M.

Texas A&M would not have to lose two matches for Florida to share the SEC regular season championship. There is no tiebreaker in men's tennis, if two or three teams tie for the conference championship they are all deemed conference champions. Only advantage is if Florida and Texas A&M tie for the championship the Aggies would be the number one seed in the conference tournament because of their head to head win over Florida.

Yeah, I know they would technically share the title....but if 2 teams tie I think deep down everyone really knows the head to head should come into play. Of course if TAMU loses one there could be a 3 way tie, in that case it probably is a true shared title. I guess best chance of that is UF beats UGA and Tamu loses to them.....and all 3 run the table otherwise.

Will be interesting to see the lineup for singles vs UGA. Goodger probably didn't help himself today, but Ingildsen hasn't played any singles in conference play. Not sure Bicknell is ready yet, but maybe he gets thrown in the fire a little.

It's a match up thing so far at five and six. Ingildsen just has not been able to crack the six man singles lineup. Not sure what the plans will be for next weekend but I can tell you the players will be ready. This is a young Georgia team for the most part and they play with great enthusiasm. Should be a fun weekend at the Ring!
