Louisville’s top pass rusher who has been linked to Florida officially transfers from UL
Both listed as DE
We use our SDE and WDE differently, dont we?
Looking like this is going to come to fruition. Any news?
Essentially we’d be getting Greenard’s RS Sr season rather than Zuniga’s RS Sr season. Both would be nice though.
So where is Greenard going?
True. Did you read that a poster mention one manning the middle?
That’s what I was replying to.
For all we know Pickering (if) drops weight like Polite but even if he doesn’t won’t be “manning” the middle. May move inside but still not on the nose.
I hope he realizes that the grass is Greenard on our side of the fence
To play for his former coach...
Florida has added a graduate transfer that should immediately help bolster the depth on the defensive line and help replace junior Jachai Polite, who entered the NFL Draft early this offseason.
Louisville's Jon Greenard, who was recruited to play for the Cardinals by current Florida defensive coordinator Todd Grantham, announced on Twitter that he will be transferring to the Gators.
Greenard was injured in 2018 in the season opener against Alabama, suffering a wrist injury that would sideline him for the entire season. He was expected to be a top defensive player for the Cardinals after tallying 9.5 sacks and 22.5 tackles for a loss in the previous two seasons.
With his transfer to Florida, he will have one year of eligibility remaining.
Still believe he should be able to petition for another year if he wants.
According to this article, he has 2 years of eligibility remaining
Report: Louisville linebacker Jon Greenard to graduate, transfer to Florida
Things continue to look up for the Gators. This has been a breath of fresh air since Mullen has arrived. Florida football is fun again.
Averages 4.0yds on every TFL. He’s got good burst and getting in the backfield fast. 42 yard INT, 7 sacks. 48 tackles and a FF. Seems pretty well rounded. Great get.
This is pretty Uuge, right?
Yes, you get a natural leader and an All Conference DE.
If he's not good enough to play with only one arm do we really want him?
