Shuler was a grad transfer with 2 years of eligibility back. He can return if he wants to

Greenard said he was coming to UF in a tweet. This was a week or so ago. My point being that if he's NOT coming to UF that either Polite has decided to stay... OR the staff is happy with the recruits coming in.

This is MY speculation in hypotheticals.

@Gatorryder, so Greenard is off topic for Greenard?

Riiiight. How does a thread with his name in the title be considered off topic?

About 3 weeks ago a site covering UL tweeted that. To my knowledge the kid has not said anything, entering his name into the transfer portal was his first step.
My hope is that his action may have been spurred by uf giving him a green light, but that is total speculation

I like when leaner athletes bulk up in college and move on to another position. HS ends develop into dts. Linebackers grow into des. Safeties into linebackers.

Recruits are 17 and 18 years old usually all of them aren't done growing and maturing.

If you had Polite, Zuniga, and Jefferson, you still take Greenard. It doesn't matter who leaves. There is no guarantee that any of our young DE will step up like Greenard already has. Always look to improve your roster.

How we stand with Pickering could be a factor on how hard UF goes after a grad transfer edge guy. Hopefully this staff knows how realistic our chances are since he an CDM have a good relationship. Pickering’s ability to play inside or out gives Grantham reasons to smile if he’s a Gator in February.

I don't believe Pickering has any affect on greenard. They are completely different players, right? We need Pickering to man the middle in 2-3 years. We need greenard to pass rush next season.

Maybe we can deploy a 1-6-4 defense scheme. I see where that add plenty of depth

Similar to the amoeba defense? It could work I think. Cause a lot of confusion to the OL for sure.

It's possible some of us are referring to Greenard the DL transfer and some of us Greenerd, the innovative hydraulic press solutions company.
    Greenerd : About Greenerd

Greenard(Green-ard) is pressing for TFL while Greenerd(Green-urd) is pressing for the best solution.

Could that be where from where the confusion stems?

Greenard is a take regardless of who may or may not sign. This guy is an all conference player candidate day one.

Would he have two years left to play at UF if he came here?

Greenard and Pickering have no impact on each other.

Pickering is a maybe in respect to coming Florida and a maybe as to seeing the field next year.

Greenard, if he comes, is a player day one. Shuler was huge this year. Greenard could be a bigger impact.

Correct on no affect. But, they would play same position. Greenard could walk on field day one for us and contribute.
