wo transfers that sat out last year I believe
I'm a fan of brevity, but I don't know what you are trying to say.
That would be Delance (OL), and Dunlap (DL).
And to find a few bodies that can block.
If we add NPF and Gerald and subtract Russell were at 266.80
Thanks, there were a few I missed/didn't include but Ancrum, Stiner, and McWilliams definitely played a lot last season.
I have a feeling that between the credit card kids, the injured kids, the redshirts (Moore and Carter in particular) and the transfers that sat out last year we are going to have a 3-deep depth chart up and down the roster for Spring practice. I mean, this will be the deepest Gator team in many years...alas, that will lead to competition to make the 2-deep, and likely some attrition before fall camp.
"GatoRich"... you had me all along.
There are many on this forum unable to understand this concept, unfortunately.
exactly, we have two offensive linemen and two wide receivers that are not even counted in this class not to mention suspended players coming back and the refshirts.
Yeah!… Whatever you said
Fixed it . Text to talk while driving sorry
Emory may have been closer to 50/50, but I really believe Copeland wanted to be a Gator.
Nesta was probably never close to 50/50.
And Boykin is a hard one to figure.
That's a little late around these parts.
I have no idea what happened with Boykin but Nesta was very close to 50/50.
All in good fun, which is how I took your post.
Yep. NPF was really the only big name coming down to the wire that we realistically had a shot at; too bad we didn't land him. He would have made this class pretty remarkable under the circumstances.
Boykin was a surprise/disappointment, CJ was an unknown, CT was not a take due to body type and too many like him already in program, Lamar was known due to his visit to FSU for an unofficial the last weekend, when he told UF coaches he was not going, NPF called coaches the day prior to let them know he was not coming, NS was always Miami and just a big troll job. Coaches had hopes of attracting, but were really at huge disadvantage with 30 to 45 days on recruiting trail and limited time to develop relationships with kids and families
Check cashed? Sounded like a lot of his side was for ND. He can enjoy the frozen plains, but then again he lives up in the frigid cold now so he is used to it. They missed on some, but what they brought in is very impressive. The skill positions are very good overall, factoring in Grimes and Van, that's the best WR group in the country.
I agree. I love our class. Especially the addition of Grimes and Jefferson. Stealing langham from bama will pay huge dividends too.
I don't think we really ever had a shot with NPF. I think he was OSU all the way based on what I've been reading lately about his relationship with Schiano.
I thought someone said he was all Notre dame? Things that make you go hmmmmm?
