Mann is not really the #2 PG. Cole Anthony, Nico Mannion and Tyrese Maxey are all better than Tre and will be playing he point next year. Anthony and Mannion probably would be lottery picks in the coming draft if they didn't have to go to college for a semester or 2.

Just reporting the news. Read an article stating he was the #2 ranked PG. You might feel differently but don’t try to pass your opinion off as fact.

Maxey and Mannion are going to be combo guards, but I dont really know if Mann is a PG either. He is just really getting used to his body and still growing.

Facts are underutilized on Gator Country. Opinions much more important. :D

I am not passing off my opinion as fact. The guys that I mentioned are rated higher than Mann, but they are listed as combo guards. If you have watched them play, you will see that they are point guards. As for my opinion, which most experts will agree with, Anthony and Mannion are light years better than Mann, and Maxey is better than Mann. If you look at mock NBA drafts, you also will see that Anthony and Mannion are rated much higher than Mann. On the NBADraft.net site for example, Mannion and Anthony are projected as the 7th and 8th picks in next year's draft. Mann is not in the top 60. Go watch a replay of this year's McDonald's game or the Nike World game if you want some insight into the ability of these players.

You keep on throwing shade at Mann for whatever reason. It's ok to think he's overrated, but we get it already.

What are you talking about? I am telling you what I saw. Let me change it. Mann is a one and done lottery pick. He clearly is the 2nd best or maybe the best point guard in this year’s class. He should be a candidate for Player of the Year in the SEC next season. The only better point guard that the Gators ever signed was Kasey Hill, who, as we know, led us to the national title in his one year at UF. Is that better? By the way, Omar Payne is the best big man I have seen coming out of high school since Alcindor.

That's funny man. I'm just pointing out that you're been overly critical of Mann and Payne before they've even set foot on our court. You're entitled to that opinion, but you don't have to go on about it for months.

I am not overly critical of them. By the way? I was touting Keyontae Johnson, Chris Chiozza and some others before most folks here ever heard of them. Maybe I should have kept my mouth shut about them. I talked about Chiozza for years through all the criticism of him; and then people woke up to what kind of player he was. I was telling people back when Kasey Hill was still in high school that they shouldn’t get their expectations up about him coming in and being a star. However, I also said that he had the tools if he could ever harness them. I was roundly criticized by many posters. In the instant case, I have consistently said that Mann and Payne can be very good players, but not to expect them to immediately become stars. Any continuing comments by me are always in response to other posters comments.

By the way, my praise of Glover shouldn’t be taken as criticism of Mann.
