Just finished the 6 part series ‘The Spy’ on Netflix. Highly recommend, very well made. The true story of early 1960’s Israeli spy Eli Cohen.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned Outlander. Going on its 5th season with the 1st 3 on Netflex with the others on Starz. Incredible acting & very interesting storyline.
There's a movie about the same story on Netflix as well called The Spy that Fell to Earth. Have not watched it yet so can't recommend. Agree the series was good though.
Fauda was pretty good. It's an Israeli series about some anti terrorist squad. Narcos and the Mind Hunter are really good and ongoing. The Queen is good if you like historical dramas. The Black Mirror is pretty good as well. It's a show where each episode has a story about some kind of futuristic tech gone wrong.
Fauda took a little time getting used to because the English dubbing is not very good. But once you get used to it,Fauda is awesome. Very much looking forward to the next season.
Currently enjoying Devs (only 3 episodes in) and The Outsider (on episode 6 of 10). I imagine this thread may crank back up in this looong offseason.
Really enjoyed ‘The Last Post’, a series on Prime, finished it last night. ‘ZeroZeroZero’ will probably be my next stop.
Gotta give it a couple, felt the same after the first episode, but it’s now one of my favorites.
Available March 27th.
I enjoyed The Kingdom...asian zombie type stuff...it just fell into my lap and I binged it the last few days...totally enjoyable if you just like action on action.
Of course love the Ozarks and cant wait to see what season 3 holds
Fell back in love with that walking dead the last few years..really has gotten back to its roots
The boys was just excellent on prime
sex education is a good show
can never go wrong with parks and rec or Brooklyn nine nine
Have seen last three all very good. but not 1&2.
Really liked Broadchurch
I tried watching it, gave it 3 episodes I think a few months ago, I couldn't see it through.
Here are some things in no particular order that I've watched and liked:
Person of Interest
Mindhunter was great, only a few episodes though. It has Anna Torv (Australian actress who also portrays Olivia in Fringe), which is why I started watching it. Would have liked to see Anna in the field though, since that was her gig in Fringe.
Just watched the first season of the Witcher in 3 nights. Not great, but pretty good, better than most Netflix stuff. Kind of a poor man's GOT.
Tiger King was wild.
Now watching Sex Education. Pretty funny. Good writing. Got through the 1st season.
Will watch Ozark Season 3 this weekend.
Breaking Bad by a mile for me.
A Good Place was funny.
Parks and Rec, yes I am exactly like Ron lol
The 100 was good the first 2 seasons
My family just started watching Nathan For You, on Hulu. It is laugh out loud, roll in the floor laughing, kind of funny.
I wouldn’t call it binge worthy because you can only watch a few episodes at a time, but really great for a family (with older kids) to watch together.
Watched a ton of Netflix movies. Some were entertaining and worth watching. Some were really weird.
Dolemite is my Name - Eddie Murphy is back. If you like his, you will like this movie. Based on a real person.
Spencer Confidential - Marky Mark in an action movie.
Platform - Good concept. Pretty crazy and gory.
Lost Girls - based on a true story. Sad but worth a watch.
All the Bright Places - Good story. Sad.
A Fall From Grace - Tyler Perry suspense movie.
Freaks - Science Fiction thriller. Great performance by the little girl.
Horse Girl - really weird movie but interesting. Alison Brie is the lead.
Mute – Futuristic movie with Paul Rudd and Alexander Skarsgard. Another weird movie but entertaining.
Rattlesnake – Psychologically Thriller. Interesting concept.
