I have an older Samsung Smart TV. It has a Netflix app but when I bring it up and try to play something it says the device is not compatible. Anyone run into that issue? There doesn't seem to be a way to tell the TV to upgrade the netflix app. Looks like i'll need to get something like a firestick or chrome cast to plug into that TV if I want to watch Netflix on it.

Well I never saw any of the top TV shows in the last 30 years, including Cosby Show, Friends, Seinfeld, Survivor, anything with initials. It's History Channel, Learning Channel, Science Channel and HGTV for me.

    5. His Dark Materials - The Golden Compass remake as series being true to the books supposedly.

Ok bumping this thread to the top again.....great show alert.

    1. Dracula on Netflix. tightly acted and according to the description by the writers..Faithful and faithless at the same time to the Bram Stoker classic. Great acting, smart dialog, stunning visuals, horror classic.

    Just Netflix?

    1 - Daredevil
    2 - Luke Cage
    3 - Peaky Blinders
    4 - Witcher
5 - Haunting of Hill House

  11. Between Amazon and Netflix (I don’t have Hulu) in no particular order as far as current shows:
    1) Ozark
    2) Bosch
    3) Jack Ryan
    4) Stranger Things
    5) Altered Carbon

    The Witcher finished strong.

It's a little hard to follow because the chapters aren't in chronological order and the two leads don't age, but it all comes together in the last couple of episodes.

I started season 1 but was having a bit of a hard time getting into it. Sounds like I should stick with it.

It can feel a little hokey at times, but the story line is great, as is the spacey stuff and "the robot".

Show doesn't really get going until Dr Smith and robot are embedded.

Not to trying to be a bomb thrower but the Aaron Hernandez documentary is worth watching as well.
