absolutely awesome show!
The second seaon of Mrs Maisel was released yesterday. First show was a little slow but it usually always is.
Just finished season 2 of ‘Ozark’. I thought the storyline went off in the woods a bit. It was still enjoyable and compelling though.
Ruth is the star of the show.
Buddy is fantastic.
The FBI agent is weird.
Darlene Snell is ruthless.
Not a big fan of Wendy, reminds me too much of hill..
Watched both seasons of ‘The Fabulous Mrs. Maisel’. Thought it was different, definitely not something ordinary. Very well put together, entertaining and a bit raunchy. Rachel Brosnahan is extremely talented.
Black Earth Rising on Netflix was excellent. It's a series composed of 8 episodes. I highly recommend it.
1 Peaky Blinders
2 The Lost Kingdom
3 Marco Polo
4 The Vikings on the history channel is excellant
Is number 4 a history of ugly super bowl losses? Or NFC championship games?
Damn. Just when I think about Joining Netflix they are going to raise prices.
Well we keep thinking about dropping it. Takes forever to find something we want to watch, much less ever heard of. Lot of junk to weed thru.
Star Trek: Discovery on the CBS streaming site is pretty good.
Sex Education; Red Oaks; Maisel; Better Call Saul; Suits.
3. Friday Night Lights
4. Black Earth Rising
5. Stranger Things (but I may remove this one - S2 was horrible)
No particular order
Needless to say we prefer kids shows...usually cleaner a d for the when family...
But I did enjoy Ozarks.
The Kaminsky Method - I resisted this, but my wife had it on and I was hooked in 1 minute. A comedy writing and acting clinic with awesome but older cast.
Russian Doll - Weird, offbeat, almost experimental, but engaging. Not for everyone but some will love it.
Umbrella Academy - Two episodes in, so far so good. Innovative, quirky, and dark.
The Body Guard - UK BBC miniseries. Loved it. Richard Madden (the late Rob Stark in GOT) really shows his acting chops. Madden would make a great Bond.
Narcos all 3 seasons
El Chapo. In Spanish
Just finished season 1 of ‘White Dragon’ on Prime. Not bad.
This post is dead on. It's more irritating trying to find something to watch than enjoyable. I cancelled Netflix due to this exact issue.
At this point it's mostly about original shows, I never thought Netflix was much of an option for movies anyway. They'd probably be wise to limit the z grade junk that seems to be filler for the higher rated stuff that they lost rights to.
Watched all 5 seasons of ‘Bosch’ on Prime Video. Thought it was pretty good, far better than any of the network detective shows, which are all garbage, imho.
Fun Fact: Bosch is based on the books written by Michael Connelly, a UF grad.
