Their hate is misguided then. That stat padding dumbass of a “point” guard they have is who they should hate. He’s a real cancer and the Thunder will be be far better long term if they moved him, even if it meant going to the top of the lottery like Philly did for all those years.

Pretty good? Those are arguably the top 2 two-way players in the NBA. And PG was finalist for DPOY.

And Rumor is that Westbrook will be traded too.

Okc enters full rebuild mode. Let’s see what they think of BD at that point.

His defense wasn’t that great when DAME dropped the series clincher in his face.

PG is the most overrated athlete of all time. Regular season player. Always crumbles in the big spots

Funny. Your one NBA post that doesn't include a KD reference, when it might actually have been relevant. Here's another superstar that decided he'd had enough of RW.

I didn't get why he took the job at the time. He had a 1-2 year window to win a title and that was it. I just don't see OKC as a draw for top free agents, especially today when it's all about building your brand.

Honestly, I've watched damn near every OKC game since Billy D started there. I have a Westbrook jersey and frequent r/okc. Thunder fans hate Billy D and as much as I love him, he hasn't done a great job there. He's had some bad luck (KD leaving, Roberson injury, PG injury) but he also plays questionable rotations, doesn't manage the flow of the game well with timeouts, and, at best, is not great at reeling WB in.

Presti will keep Billy around as a scapegoat for when the owners want someone canned.

I was born and raised in OKC. If I had to guess a poll on BillyD, it would probably be 90/10 with a majority saying move on.

I'm in the camp of move on. While he hasn't been horrible, he certainly hasn't been anything special.

I love him for what he did at UF, but it was a highly questionable hire at the time (his OKC hire), I just don't believe it worked out.

The 2017/18 playoffs in the first round exit against Utah, I give it to you, he didn't really show up. But objectively looking at his career, he has balled out in the playoffs. He always had to run into LeBron though.

His playoff stats this year was dang near 28ppg/9rpg/4apg on 44 percent shooting. PG being the most overrated athlete of all-time seems like an extreme overreaction statement.

If they trade RW and truly start over, might make sense to start over with a new coach too. But it also might make sense to ride out the down years with a guy who already is under contract. Don’t need to waste more money if you can’t win anyway.

Runblings that OKC might pursue Beal to play alongside Russ. They're also considering trading Russ to get the full value of him now before his athleticism declines as his salary increases, then go into full rebuild mode. Full rebound mode would add significant value to all their 1st round picks. As it is now they wouldn't get a top 10 pick, likely be a .500 team

I agree, it is time to explore trading Russ. Full disclosure, I'm probably the biggest Russ fan on Earth. I'm not a blind witness though, I acknowledge his flaws, but 1) the heart and guts this dude plays with every night, 2)he had the ability to walk from OKC after KD left but still stayed. I'll always ride with him.

OKC should be in full rebuild mode, but the Russ contract is going to be hard to move. The best move might be Adams contract.

But let's be honest - who outside of maybe Pops would be able to reign in RW?

Poor Beal if that happened. If I were OKC I would be trading RW for BB. Now that would be funny seeing RW and JW in the same backcourt.

Ok I’m exaggerating with the most overrated athlete but he is so much better in the regular season than when it matters most.

Oklahoma doesn’t even deserve a basketball team so I’m not concerned with what their fans think. Put them back in Seattle where they belong.

Get a group of Seattle investors to buy the franchise and move it back to the northwest.

How exactly are the Clippers a well-run organization?
