Lars was not the hitting coach. Frankly, I am not sure we have anyone designated as the hitting coach.

If we saw the same thing, I think it said he was going to Georgia State to be their hitting coach.

Leaving to be the hitting coach at another school.

Nice show of appreciation for a guy who volunteered here for 7 years though..

As a volunteer I often wondered how he was compensated, I’m sure he didn’t work all the hours required for free!!!

Best of luck to Lars. Those fully paid spots are coveted and he now has one. Hope he has a great coaching career.

Put Wing as 3B coach. He will be waving hitters onto third base on infield ground balls. We can be Triple U.

And he only costs beer and food. A pretty good deal when you get down to it.

@wingtee would also want free access to the UF golf course. If he gets free fees for a guest I might take the game up again.

I believe they get a stipend....and the volunteer assts typically run camps and make decent money off that. I know some also gave private lessons as well.

I took business golf one year. No idea what the difference was in business golf vs regular golf but regardless, an amazing class. Friday at 7AM. 3 hours. Golfing on UF’s course. A truly brilliant “academic” course.
