Really like this young athlete. He looks good on O and hits like a truck on D. Hope staff can sign him and then figure out how to get him on the field quickly.

If he has the football IQ of Ahmad Black, he will have an even greater impact than Black if we get him. He just looks like a football player and definitely has better speed than Black had.

Sounds like he’d be a great get for UF.

This is a kid I’d love for us to get. Might be my favorite player. Yes like Ahmad, but quicker and bigger hitter.

Loved Ahmad fearless, smart, and made others better because of all that he did.

I think Auburn leads. That said, a lot can change with Auburn recruits quickly once the season starts.

Yeah, Canes say they and Auburn leas. Canes already have two safety commits and he’s a safety, so that bodes well for us. With Auburn, we just need to beat them. Gus is on the proverbial seat.

I’ve got them at 7-5 this year. We win the ones we should and stay healthy and I think he’ll want to play for us.

Unfortunately our Safety coach has some difficulties on the recruiting front. Not someone that the HS kids relate to in comparison to other secondary coaches. Not in on any of the high 4/5 star kids despite the DBU branding. Great on field and practice coach.

Definitely agree. Marquand would be a home run upgrade imo

I just re-watched his film and he is definitely a player that we should try hard to land...

Never game him any thought but he would be a great hire. If he's out of coaching this upcoming season and there after the season, bye bye Ron English. Only thing is with him getting a taste of coaching in the NFL, especially as a DC, would he be eager to take that kind of step back even if he'll be coaching at his Alma Mater. Maybe make him Co-DC as well

Not sure TG would go for that, but who knows. If our safety play is good this year and RE pulls a couple guys, we may be singing a different tune at the end of the year. Our dline coach that we complained about his recruiting is recruiting just fine at bama.

Farir enough and but also I mean he DOES have an easier time recruiting at Bama with arguably the greatest recruiter as his head coach in Saban.

There are probably many factors as to why Saban recruits the way he does and magnetic personality is doubtful to be one.

Maybe we had too high of expectations of his recruiting, but the bottom line is he has recruited great DL in the ACC and SEC in the past, and he came up short one or two DT last year for us.

^^^ Every coach recruits just fine at Bama. Their facilities, stipend, winning tradition, and Saban are hard to beat.

That and when’s the last time one of their players was injured on a scooter.
