Best TE in the country and it’s not close. Too big for corners and too fast for linebackers. Haven’t seen someone this good in the Orange and Blue since Ahern.

And if people haven’t watched the HBO Inside the Gators show, sign up for HBO now just to see him in it. He’s Clark Kent off the field (nerdy, love it hah) and Superman on it.

He’s a true sophomore and sometimes shows it with his blocking and lack of strength. Overall a great mismatch, but I would love to see him come down with those contested balls

Pitts is a weapon that has to get the ball often. Jefferson, Hammond, Swain, Grimes and Copeland are as talented a receiving corps as a any not wearing Bama jerseys. Sadly the Gator OL is incapable of consistent production which will limit this team’s success vs. top ten talent. USCe will be an uphill battle next Saturday after 2 consecutive big games.

When you guys look at the replay you will be pissed at all the holding that LSU got away with right in front of the refs... frustrating.

I too wonder why we stopped passing the ball to Pitts.

Lee McGriff was not as complementary on the radio call last night.
Lazy routes, taking plays off,(his thoughts)and in my eyes not a great blocker.
    Tall, quick, good hands.
Can be a complete player if he wants to be?

Vegas bumped up the spread to 14 right before the game, and there was A TON of critical non-called holds by LSU in this game that directly affected it's outcome, which was by what? Exactly 14 points.

Say what one will, but I noticed that.

CI was nasty. Shame he got hurt or our 08 season could’ve been even better

Man we’re so bad up front. I don’t want to bash kids bec their kids but holy shit it almost seems like they’re incapable of doing better which makes me feel bad for pointing it out.

I agree. What was more frustrating was the holding their o-line did against our d-line. A few passes Burrow threw were sacks or maybe even sack fumbles

I lost count of how many times LSU defenders held or interfered with our receivers in some way. I'm sure my blood pressure was elevated.

This is why letting gambling into college football is asking for corruption to take a foothold into college athletics. I still cannot believe they let gambling in college sports. Where there is gambling there is corruption and crooked refs...

The most obvious hold was our WR to the right of the field right in front of the sideline ref. The LSU defender held, mugged and was being dragged by our WR and no call. He would have been wide open for the catch and run toward the end zone. Why important? Trask threw the end zone interception on that play

You can't be the best TE in the country with the glaring weaknesses he now has.
Good WR yes, match up nightmare yes, good teamatte I'm sure he is, good kid yes.
Best TE, no. Not right now.
Making an age reference dosen't change the original premise of the post.

    Go Gators!!

On the same play, you can see them holding swain the whole way too... then the pass is intercepted. That was a bad miss

I have to say though. We have two beasts which makes it really difficult for defenses if they can’t get to our QB.

VJ and KP will be in the NFL for a very long time.

If our O-line was better, this would be a playoff caliber team

at that pt it is not vegas bumping the spread, it's a market determined price. Plus, a push is the last thing vegas wants.

I wasn’t aware I used the terminology of him being the “best te in the country “. I used to have debates with my ex wife just like this. I would Say something , she would alter it, color it red, give it an extra adjective , then tell me that’s what I said. Wasn’t true then and isn’t now boss
