Krispy Kreme offers a free donut to people who get vaccinated
More, sugar coated, virtue signaling.
In before this goes to TH
I really expected this to be a Tennessee Vols tread.
No pain, no gain.
The first time I’ve actually been tempted to consider it......
The ultimate “carrot and stick”..
Phil Fulmer wants to know how many shots he can receive.
I guess Marvin Hagler and donuts are ok for this section, but not other topics.
Replace the covid pandemic with a diabetes pandemic!
Considering most that have the shot currently are over 55 or immune compromised, not much of a donut crowd. Perhaps the first responders like fire department and police?
Maybe Congress should have given cash incentive for getting the shot rather than giving out money for free.
I mean come on. 1?
That’s 1 per day, 284 days left in the year.
“In order to receive a free doughnut, customers must show a card that contains proof that they have received the vaccine. It must be brought into a store, but customers won’t need to purchase any additional items in order to receive the free pastry. The offer is limited to one free doughnut per qualified person per day.”
Especially when you consider they’re mostly just air....
Genius marketing....because I can’t eat just one! I’ll get a dozen!
If Krispy Kreme wants us to do it, it must be healthy.
Krispy Kreme is healthy for you. It has dough which is derived from wheat which is a plant grown in the ground. It has glazed sugar, also an plant based product. It is cooked which is good for it by killing off any cooties.
No animals are killed in the making of donuts. In addition, the dumpsters of KK locations often become attractive to bee colonies which is good for creating local honey, which is good for us.
I prefer KK Blueberry donuts because they also provide the blueberry anti-oxidant.
Eat more donuts !!
I actually think this would have been a great idea send the check to everyone who gets vaccinated first.
Lol, survive COVID and get diabetes, hypertension, and Atherosclerosis.
Grew up on KK in Tampa but haven’t had one in over a decade. Donuts are kinda off the menu these days.
