This is pretty damn callous. It’s a misdemeanor with low penalties which should give you an indication of how little we think it actually causes harm to society, and balancing the risk of that vs feeding and keeping your family safe makes it a pretty easy decision. These people are just trying to scratch by and you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth and a stick up your ass. Says enough about your character.

 

The fact the ICE has resorting to apprehending and deporting immigrants whose only "crime" is undocumented presence in the US is the real indicator that there just aren't very many undocumented immigrants who havr committed serious violent crimes, the illegals that Trump was supposed to be targeting. In fact the Trump Administration is desperate to pump up the numbers of deportees that it has resorted to apprehending immigrants who are showing up for court hearings not to mention Trump's decision to withdraw the legal status of hundreds of thousands of Haitians, Venezuelans and Cubans making the eligible for deportation.
