Knife wielding illegal immigrant charged with 2nd degree murder:

Knife-Wielding Migrant Allegedly Attacks U.S. Attorney in Albany New York

New York is like an apple rotten at the core from being led too long by pathetic democratic leaders:

Morales-Garcia was taken into custody and charged with attempted second-degree murder and is scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday in City Court. He also has an active arrest warrant in Georgia, investigators said.

Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik said she was shocked and disgusted by the attack on the U.S. Attorney.

“In Kathy Hochul’s New York, nobody is safe, not even President Trump’s U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of NY, John A. Sarcone III, who was ‘confronted and chased’ by an illegal alien armed with a knife in Albany last night, the Times Union reported,” Rep. Stefanik said in a statement.

“Three separate times, Hochul signed executive orders to protect violent illegal aliens from deportation. Kathy Hochul puts illegals first and New Yorkers last. We desperately need a governor who puts New Yorkers first and restores law and order to our streets,” Stefanik wrote.

That's crazy! That happened under Trump in Trump's America!

What is he going to do, continue to coddle criminals (like himself)?

    Why does he hate America?

Have Desantis and Judd lost control of Polk and the entire state?????

One-off crime threads are some of the dumbest and most pointless on TooHot. If you want to make a compelling argument about immigrant crime then show they commit crimes at a higher rate than citizens.

Man, you said it. It insults all of our intelligence to even see that crap, much less a whole new thread (on a regular basis.)

But America did just elect a guy whose inflation policy was drilling more oil, and whose immigration policy was "They're eating the dogs."

It still shocks me to see so much laughable Trumpy nonsense accepted ..... which my circle would have scorned in middle school.

    'Murica, I guess.

Not sayin it is the case here but when I see statistics collected to prove someone's point I have a tendency to question those stats.
The type of questions I would wonder about here are.
Wouldn't it be easier to catch a person who was born here and lived here all his/her life due to the fact that he would be much more recognizable/identifiable than someone who had only been here a few months.
Wouldn't someone who has been living in the US all his life be more likely to have a criminal record here than someone who just snuck over the border.

My point being someone who has been here a week is much less likely to have a criminal record than someone who lived here for 30 years.

The difference is they will not be out walking the streets again in Florida.

The problem is they should not be here to commit any crimes. If they are not here they will not be committing any crimes here. One crime committed by someone here illegally is to many in my opinion.

There are people that have been here days and half a century illegally. Statistics look at the bigger picture and it’s not a small data set researchers are working with.

One reason we see lower crime, particularly if you compare it to economic status, is those coming to the country illegally know how good it is and don’t want to attract attention and get deported. Everyone can have their own opinion as to how much of an effect that has.

Why? It effectively dilutes the crime rates meaning you or someone you love is less likely to be a victim of a crime. Using your logic we should reduce the US population so we can reduce absolute crime numbers.

Did you ever figure out who's going to fill the appx 8-9 million jobs they currently hold? Maybe it's the secret group of legal people we have who also, uh .... don't ever commit any crimes?

Even your political hero Trump, who campaigned on racist lies about illegal immigrants, recently admitted that he won't be deporting them because ...... get this cuz it's cRaZy..... we need them to do the jobs.

But perhaps you have the answers?

As opposed to this guy, who is currently being held without bail?

Probably only kept him because it was in the national news. I am sure they have arrested him several times before.

Sounds like a good idea. Maybe start with those already on death row. On the other hand your example is a joke. Has nothing to do with people coming here illegally.

What part of illegal do you not get? I don't care how long they get away with it. They are illegal and broke the law and should be arrested and sent back to where they came from.

That’s nice you don’t care, but as a society we have the concept of statutes of limitations, vesting, and just basic human effin decency.

What’s my example? You’re the one who stated that even “one crime” is too many.
