Good pickup for Ole Miss.
Sy is heading north to Ole Miss. I don't understand why we were not recruiting this kid.
I hope to god White know what he is doing with Blackshear. We have barely offered anyone in the past 2-3 weeks for our last spot
Maybe White either wants a standout like Blackshear and if not is saving the scholarship slot for next year.
Mike is playing his cards close to his vest. I like it.
Unless I don't. Damn, I hate this...
Don’t mind him waiting on Blackshear if he has a plan “B”. Hopefully he has someone willing to wait and see if Blackshear takes the last spot.
IMO it only makes sense to add a starter quality player. None of the other options seem close to Blackshear in that regard, maybe the guy from Nevada that already puts up good numbers in D1 ball? Otherwise it makes little sense to add a transfer that might only be a role player. We already have Payne and Jitoboh to develop.
Otherwise I'm a-ok with saving that ship for 2020 unless we are looking at a likely starter as a true PF or C.
Reports of the kid being a real pain in the ass.
I can’t speak to it being true, but have read it in a few places.
We have one spot left. It’s not is if we can divide it up among a bunch of players.
I read that too. It's hard to judge character but you do your best and you don't knowingly bring in kids that are likely to be a problem.
Wasn’t Sy twice enrolled at Virginia Tech? That alone should have made him our numero uno target.
It's 1 assuming Nembhard comes back right?
I know you're joking about splitting them up, but I wonder if you actually can in basketball? I know for other sports (baseball, track, etc) they only have a limited number of scholarships and players split portions of them. I know you're probably not going to find players willing to do that but curious if it's allowed for other sports.
