    Was an absolute beast today.

Showed his all-around game, hitting 3's, attacking the rim, was a rebounding machine too. Plays so much bigger than 6'5 with his jumping ability and strength.

Can't wait to see how he progresses here. Wonder how he'll look next season if we can play him at the 3, his more natural position.

Hence my SOG in the Pickem' Contest.

Let's just say that he was nickeled and dimed in the UK game and it hurt a lot.

I can't agree more especially him playing the 3. I'm sure Lewis will start at the 3 next year with Johnson still playing the 4 but the year after that he hopefully should slide into the 3 if he stays.

True, needs to tighten up at the line. 1-5 is abysmal.

Very interesting. From the outside I would never guessed his motor would have been an issue. Goes to show you how much in the dark we are sometimes even when we follow this team closely. Love these kinds of inside the team articles. Would love to see even more.

Chris Harry is a very good journalist, writes well and knows how to interview, he also does well at walking the line between saying too much and providing insight. Working for UAA it is a balancing act and he and Scott Carter do it well. I was able to chat with both of them one night at the O'Dome waiting for Tip Off, both nice guys and pleased to get positive feedback. I go to other SEC schools sports sites and UF has the very best stable of writers and in my book Harry & Carter are the lead dogs.

Lucky for us, as the large majority of external Gators coverage is mediocre at best.

Johnson is very patient, cool, and laid back. Think Robert Horry. But that can easily look like (or even translate into) a lack of energy. What the staff wanted to see earlier in the year was him doing all the little things on the court that he is capable of doing. Beating his opponent down the court in transition, moving off the ball, going after loose balls, hitting the offensive glass, keeping his hands up defensively. The kid just such a natural, smooth player who doesn't need a ton of shots. But he needs to stay active.

    2nd double-double in 2 days. 16 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. The kid is a stat-stuffer

Now if he'd just make his FTs
