If we get lucky and close on all cylinders, I will take it. It only means next two classes we get to be selective and take four. No doubt, we are hurting for OL. It could turn out that as the season plays out the fsu OL realize that, even though fsu has a likeable OL coach, the situation there is not good. Will they come to UF? Who knows. But yeah, keep pushing. Just because UF said negative things about fsu, truth is truth. They have until December for reality to set in.
James and Keeley have very similar styles, and as much as I think James should be at least a high 4*, Keely is basically James jacked up on cocaine. Leaner and muscular, so he does the same things, but even quicker and easier (stronger). We definitely have room for all these guys, DL could rotate often and the least ready can redshirt for separation. Guys who don't buy in or underperform will end up in the portal (maybe PWO) to reach the 85 limit. EDIT: Also, some Edge could play LB. Russaw plays both really well, could make up for LB recruiting.
Quiet as kept, FSU’s recruiting class is ranked 21st which isn’t bad at all considering they finished under .500 last year. If they scratch and claw their way to 7+ wins……watch out
Yes, worth it to get the 300+ DT. I get the idea with the level of athleticism of the players along the DL there will be a lot of movement along the line and different packages to get players involved.
Really??? I find it hard to believe, if only because we have two edge types and some bigger framed DL. But god bless this staff. I'm happy if we so load up this cycle that next year's DL class is 3. The thing about "leading" now with NIL is that it could well be "they offered the most over 3 years".
IMO their problem is the board isn't great to close strong. That can certainly change, but it doesn't look like they will have much positive movement unless they turn things around. 29th on Rivals, and will likely possibly be passed by Michigan, Auburn, TamU, UNC.....they will pass several teams ahead of them, but probably still be high teens or low 20's at the end
true indeed. They may NIL their way into Hakeem Williams but so what? When checking their recruiting under Memphis Mike, they've remained the same. Just not enough top end talent is what buries them
Former Gator great @KevinCarter_93 is one of several former players at practice today. He also happens to work with five-star @keon_keeley at Berkeley Prep. https://t.co/g9tUZcaZrO
