Wow. This is astonishing - that 1960s Georgia was far ahead of 2020s Florida. Wouldn’t have thunk it so.

 

DeSantis loves to say that Florida is where "woke goes to die". It would probably be more accurate to say under his guidelines for public education Florida is where the history of Jim Crow and segregation are erased and where gay people do not exist.
