Yep he just lack snaps. Wanna see how he is as a check down pass catcher and a pass blocker. He's fine as a runner

In his defense it’s fair to say it’s very possible Lingard and pierce could leave

It is rare that a top program does not take a RB recruit each year. Some take 2.

I would say very doubtful both leave. Not enough carries for both to have a breakout year, one or the other but unlikely both. And RB dont go in the draft like they used to

That's another reason to bolt as a RB. Get paid as quickly as ya can

If they did it would be a win though , it’d mean we spent all 10 games Beatin ass

All around skills as a back need to show. He doesn’t need the stats nearly as bad. Perine didn’t have eye popping stats but it was clear that he had the skills.

Perine will probably never get the credit he deserves unless he catches a break in the NFL. He's one of the best RBs we've had in 15+ years and had MacShark recruited OL, we'd have seen him break 1,200 easy last year

Nothing about him is 5* ish but he does so many things very well. Hell, Emmit wasn’t very eye popping, Barry Sanders like or anything but he sure could move the sticks like no other.

I agree with what you said. Something is up. I know Georgia and Alabama have been paying players for years. But my comments were directed at Miami. Miami is different because, unlike Alabama and Ohio State, Miami hasn't been relevant since having a lap top was something you got in a place called the Cheetah Club or Doll House. We will get RB's when we get an OL and start winning and/or playing for NC's. In fact, like Bama and Ohio State, we will get everything: QB's OL, DL, etc. Until the last couple of years , we sucked. Even our so called "good years" under The Whale Whisperer were Fool's Gold. You are also right in that we have recruited very well under Mullen. Whether "elite" or not is up to what they actually do on the field, though, instead of some mythical championship determined by some dotcom.

There's also a rumor my best friend got abducted by aliens and they performed strange sexual experiments on him--and he liked it! ( that part would be true). But a rumor is just that--nothing more than something you or I could make up right now without an ounce of evidence or proof to support it. If Urban has a stress problem--and he does--and he quit at OSU bc of the big bad media intruding into his life on top of that, then I don't think Miami is what the doctor would order. Plus, Miami needs stability , not someone who has been the world's best band aid for most of his career.

Thank you. AND never do we see a program not take a back 2 years in a row.

Yes sir, strike while hot. Also w kids wanting immediate playing time a transfer is very possible. Add in injury and we could easily be at 3 rb’s on team to start next year.

True indeed and now with how the NFL is with them using more of a two back system (a lot of teams, not ALL teams), how high you get drafted is nice, but WHERE you get drafted is more important bc if Laveon Bell doesn't bounce back, that's Perine's job going into 2021 if he can prove himself. Bell Scarlett didnt get any run behind Cyborg McCaffrey last season but you have to think Carolina MAAAY lighten his load this season giving Scarlett some chances.

100% agree. That LSU RB is gonna dominate in KC, as their starter chose to sit and hes a perfect fit for the system. Wouldn’t be the case almost anywhere else

Lol im 34 so i started remembering UF football in 94:

    Philips
    Dunn
    Shaun Alexander
    Travis Stephens
    Fournette
    McGahee
    Ronnie Brown
    clyde edwards-helaire
    The MSU duo in 2000

Are the only times i can remember feeling like we could have had 20 defenders on the field and it wasnt going to make a difference
