After seeing those clips from Twitter, I don't see a diamond in the rough though I do see a lot of good prospects at the same position who are interested in UF.

I wasn’t implying that he wasn’t very good. He’s certainly seen more attention lately... Just that the staff isn’t as high on him as other guys.

I never said he wasn’t very good either. Just that the staff wasn’t as high on him and thought he was a diamond in the rough and weren’t interested. So we are on the same page.

Me too. That seems to be the prototype now, a rangy speedster who will start his UF career at OLB and grow into a Buck. That's the route Bogle and Summerall are taking. Gets them on the field sooner, a few steps back from where they'll be playing in the future. In the mean time, Savage will be doing his magic in the weight room and at the training table. Won't need to do that with Bryce Langston. He's almost 240 as a high school sophomore. He could be a DT by the time he gets to UF.

Gervon tweeted "im solid to the gators stop asking"

    Griffis then retweeted this

Which said "please go to FSU"

I saw a headline on another site that said he’s reaching out to current UF commits to sway them away from the Gators. WTF, is going on with this kid???? Wasn’t he the one that tweeted a pic of himself at like 8 years old decked out in Gator gear?

Looking like the 'new staff/no love' hypothesis is accurate.

He and Rector can start a support group for lamenting childhood fandom.

Maybe he's looking for an opportunity to play QB. Cesspool would be the place to go.

Watching tape, really has one move, which is speed rush to outside. Gets very low to ground as well. Works well when in one on one drills without another blocker and with an immobile bag to touch. However, if QB steps up in pocket or gets rid of ball quickly, will not touch QB with wide rushing angle. Also can’t protect against the run with that wide a gap on pass rush. Finally, he appears more limited when rushing from right side of defensive line. More effective from left side. When watching Gervin, he rushes with greater gap control using his arms and strength more effectively.
