I didn’t see anyone talking about this but apparently Jonnie Brown is going Juco instead of enrolling.

Well that sucks. From my understanding we get the counter back. Wonder if there are any good possible transfers left out there that could take his spot this summer.

You left out the Immigration VISA OL recruit in limbo for 2 years. Not to mention all the transfers out without even making it to the Fall football season. Two last year and 1 this year thus far.

All the more reason it was so important to get Princely and Dexter, both of whom can spend some time at DE or DT. However, I see him just as I do Black, you do whatever you have to in order to get him 1.5 years later from JUCO, even if it means losing a counter. His explosion and speed at the position is ridiculous. You don't just dip back in the market after having him on the commit list for 6 months and find an equivalent.

This just screams, and we don't know the facts, that he just said "f it" cause this doesn't have anything to do with SAT/ACT scores and more just basic school work

In the state of GA, a high school senior's grade COULD NOT DROP below the grade they had on March 13th....it could only go up. Therefore, the only way a senior fails a class is because they didn't do any work. The teachers gave students dozens of opportunity to raise their grades through participation, basic homework assignments, open book quizzes, etc...

Basically, if you failed a class it means you did nothing.

I assume the state of Florida had similar "rules".

Here is a fact for you. I was not allowed to give any kid lower than a 60, no matter if they did nothing. If they turned in their assignment, it was graded, shall we say, very kindly. If a kids grade went down the last two months, it is totally on them.

Yes..Florida DOE waived all state testing and a student would have had to do practical nothing to fail..teachers were very forgiving..and generous..
