Sweeeeeeeet! That’s awesome news for the Gators. Matt Rule making a good hire here. I’m not much of an NFL fan, but I do like when good young coaches distrupt the status quo.

Will be really interesting to see how this plays out for Will Grier.

Double whammy for LSU with Burrow also gone. No possible way around them taking a significant step back next year. Interesting decision by Brady, shows he likely wants to climb the NFL ladder. He likely would’ve landed a mid level college HC job next year, imho. Still a bit surprised no one took a flyer on him this year.

Joe Brady: LSU assistant Joe Brady is planning to accept the opportunity to join the Carolina Panthers Adam Schefter has tweeted.

Just curious, what was it about him? His play calls or schemes or both? I understand he ran an nfl type passing scheme, but it just seemed unstoppable. Was it his play calling? Was it having a great qb? Was it having a great set of wr's? Was it his schemes? It's as if he introduced something DC's never seen before. Anyhow I'm glad joe and joe are gone.

It seemed to me it was the combination of his scheme, which opened up LSU's offense, and Joe Burrow dropping dimes to those receivers.

The Cincinnati Bengals should’ve hired him. It’s just mind boggling that they didn’t have the foresight to do this. I guess that’s why they’re the Bungels..

Panthers new owner is making bold moves by bringing in young, innovative coaches. As for LSU, this is a blow for them losing a QB who just had one of the greatest seasons in history and the mastermind behind it. Coach O will definitely look to replace Brady with someone who runs a similar system.

No, as the OC, just like Carolina is doing. Bringing him in with Burrow would’ve been perfect.

Basically moved LSU from the 1980s offensively to a cutting edge NFL passing scheme. Miles was running an archaic offense and wasted an incredible amount of elite skill talent.

The bit of luck for Brady was having a guy who could absorb and flawlessly execute the offense immediately.

Now with Brady and Burrow gone, that "perfect storm" LSU had this past year will now go back down to being a Cat 2 maybe. And, it also hurts the Saints with him being in the NFC-S. Double win for me !!!

Call me crazy but I always thought Brady would have been nuts to stay at LSU without Burrow. Either he does it again and his stock is marginally higher, or doesn't, and everyone says he was only good because of the quarterback.
