Just read the CNN article. Dude was a baller. I’m a Giants fan and remember being glad we got him. Fun to watch him play at UK. Could be argued he began their ascension.

    Sad. R.I.P.

Think that was the crazy 6 or 7 OT game against Arkansas. Something like 70-64? Jared and Tebow sure were fun to watch.

Lorenzen was a lot bigger, lot more likeable Manziel.

He didn’t make it to the point where an old age home was even on his radar. But eat up.

Can’t believe that happened. What’s crazy is that I actually just ran a search on him a couple weeks back to try to see how his battle with losing weight was going...

My brother has fought weight problems his whole life. At 6’1, he’s gotten down to 220, been over 300, but is usually around 280(ish). I’ve always had a soft spot for fat people, and was really rooting for Lorenzen.

    That sucks.

I'd read that he had recently been on dialysis due to renal issues.

R.I. P. Jared You made it fun to watch the game as you could truck defenders. Did'nt realize that his weight issue had gotten worse after he retired. Was very admirable what he was trying to do. Very sorry for his Mom and his family. :( Prayers to all of them.
