That was bizarre. He looked high.
It's pretty clear that was the worst offseason under Mullen so far right? Chris Steele lasts like 2 weeks on campus then throws the admin under the bus because he’s a west coast kid that got cold feet and was living with a douchebag teammate he could scapegoat (Jalon Jones, who was getting the boot regardless).
Then the west coast staffers start imploding and we basically took until recently when we fired Ron English to fully get rid of that boondoggle stench. Or am I misremembering?
it SEEMS like he’s laughing at the notion of him being questioned about the QB spot going into the fall. Could be wrong but the optics sure seem like it
Whichever one doesn’t sexually assault a girl gets the job.
Jones could fit at Uga, they go thru Qbs now every week. Fsu since they suck and would be a step down from Jacksonville State...btw where is the state of Jacksonville? Or maybe ucf where he could win a couple of Nat championships. How about Parsons Jr College?
That is an embarassing response from a head coach. Id be shocked if he is capable of running a successful program
No thoughts on Jones, but I can see why a kid from Virginia would want to bail on Jackson, Ms.
What a joke. I'd be livid if I was a parent
I mean, it’s Jackson State. You can get far if you recruit way above your competition. So I wouldn’t be shocked if DS had some level of success there. But what an absolute tit. That isn’t just unbecoming for a head coach - it is unbecoming for any adult.
Deion Sanders is the same pompous jerk he's always been. What a nut case.
This is why I laughed at all the talk of deion going to Jackson State to boost the visibility of a HBCU. He went there so he could coach his kids and pretend to have noble causes. deion does things for deion and while I don't have anything against Jackson State, I hope they lose every game he coaches.
So how did he work around the needing a degree to be eligible to coach in ncaa? Is that not the case for lower levels?
Seems like I remember reading he went out and bought some degree from some offbeat school. Not exactly sure, but, he would have had to find something as academically diluted as an fsu football degree.
Imagine Deion lecturing players or media about the importance of going to class.... What an embarassing hire. The guy has no business being involved with an academic institution.
Going to class or having class...Deion has neither.
Talladega College. In 2-3 years he’ll be the savior of his alma mater.
Not sure, but I think you complimented him there.
I briefly saw Jones play for Jackson State on TV and he looked great. But I changed channels when I saw the head coach on the sideline wearing a visor backwards and upside down. I don't watch TV to get sick.
Probably enrolled in some of those online courses offered in Chapel Hill.
Deion didn't go to class, because he had none.
