2020 is covid year, he would be able to get a medical RS for 21.....so 4 years to play 4. He was either winning or in the mix for a strating corner spot this year. If th shoulder is ok he should easily battle for a starting slot here.
The world will never know
Covid year plus injury year = 4
if it’s 4 or 3 may not be relevant as if he is truly a top 100 player and plays like it, he ain’t staying in college for 5-6 total years. Be gone to nfl (which if he’s that good would be a good thing).
Member of the class of 2020
In Kimber's two years in Athens, he appeared in three games. He totaled three tackles, all of which being solo. He would have seen many more snaps in the 2021 season, but a shoulder injury caused him to miss the majority of the year. He enters Florida with four years left to play in Gainesville.

Sounds like a great pick up.
but can he thumb wrestle like a champion?
Mullen is no longer here….
Nice to have high quality talent that should match up but this does not weaken georgia, it helps UF, no doubt.
Torrian Gray and Ron English recruited him. UF made him an offer March 03, 2019, but he showed little interest in UF. He had an unofficial visit to UF April 13, 2019 but committed to the Leg Humpers two days later. He also had offers from Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, Baylor, LSU, Michigan and Notre Dame (just to name a few).
He ran a 4.44 second 40 at "The Opening" finals on July 1, 2019.
Coming out of High Schools he was projected as a round 4-7 NFL Draft Pick (day 3).
Looks like it’s the main focus of the staff.
Well it was clearly our position of greatest need the last couple of years (that plus LB)
Wonder if they’re just being careful or aren’t liking what they’re seeing from Hill.
I feel bad for Hill, isn’t this his 2nd ACL issue? Dude serves a chance at least, sheesh
Not sure how he’s recovering, but I wouldn’t say he was a top tier DB when healthy.
I think he had the potential to be, he just didn't have a ton of experience. He would've been starting opposite Elam this season.
Yep, we didn’t really get to see him and Grantham didn’t make Marco look too goof either. Marco looked to be playing to not get hurt to me but he’s doing well on Sundays from what I hear.
So, that's five incoming transfers that count towards this year right now (Kimber, Johnson, Waites, Miller and Truesdell). Since Sumerall and Zanders are staying now and Jones has not officially entered his name in the portal, that matches with the five definite outgoing transfers (Mincey, Gamble, Copeland, Bogle, and Diabate). I'm assuming that means no more incoming transfers will be announced until someone else leaves. That also seems to confirm that others are, in fact, expected to leave, since Napier said that there would be more incoming transfers.
Love this pick up as can never have too much DB depth and this kid could be a starter. Let’s see if he can add to that with Matthews.
