Being reported on Twitter — UGA cornerback transfer Jalen Kimber is a Gator.
Did not see that one coming
Nice to have a staff working 24/7. Not gonna out hustle this bunch.
Nice to also hurt Georgia
What was his situation? Any idea why he was in the portal.
Must have been a hot TX recruit outta high school
He had shoulder surgery about 4 months ago after an injury during the season I believe. Was playing as a backup
He was ranked 105 in the country coming out of HS - legit talent.
#6 CB on 247. Excellent pick up.
For what it’s worth, the 247 composite had him as a four-star high school prospect. Top 100ish overall, top 10 cornerback.
Nice. 4 years of eligibility?
Your reaction is similar to mine. Didn’t jump off the screen when he played
you’re the only Gator fan not happy about this
Upgrading the overall roster through the portal. That's how it's supposed to work, rather than it replacing HS recruiting as was the case with the last guy. Gotta use those bonus slots.
It probably means we don’t have a shot at Gentry Williams…
I am not disappointed, I am just not excited about this. I like that it takes away depth from Georgia, but the injury and surgery means he will take time
Agreed, will have 4 years eligibility and provide some quality depth at the least. Best case scenario becomes a starter under Raymonds tuteledge.
Maybe. Smart pickup if that's the case.
shoulda came last year dammit but as Thanos said
