Follow Locksley to Maryland, as will run same offense?

Maybe follow Pruitt to TN, as both were at Bama together at one time?

Go down to FIU with Lane Kiffin, as had his best success running Lane’s offense when both were at Bama

I’m choosing option 3, but could be any of the above

11 intriguing transfer destinations for Jalen Hurts

“File the name Brian Johnson away with this one. A former assistant at Mississippi State and Houston, Johnson recruited Hurts out of high school for the Bulldogs. A key factor in Dak Prescott’s ascendance, Johnson and Dan Mullen bring with them a wealth of quarterback developmental experience. Florida also could use a QB. Feleipe Franks was much better in Year 2 as a starter, but you’re not going to find anyone nationally who thinks Franks gives Florida a better chance to win than Hurts. Florida jumps into the 2019 national title picture with Hurts in the fold.”

Can confirm. I have heard the same. Apparently, CWT feels pretty confident on this one.

I hate seeing these Florida needs a QB articles, Dan doesn't strike me to even be considering another QB. Wouldn't make sense to disrupt the chemistry in the locker room, especially with Franks progressing.

What exactly does Hurts do WELL?

Unless he's going to jump on the DL, I think we're good for right now in the QB dept.

If its not too late to participate in spring practices then I want Hurts in orange and blue. I love Franks heart, but his ability to read the field is still very limited. If its too late for spring, then I'm happy sitting out the transfer qb market.

The biggest thing this team has going for it right now besides the obvious improvements, is chemistry and brotherhood. You don't tamper with that for a one year rental QB.

Watch the SEC championship again. Kid is a stud and would be a huge upgrade.

I agree we are likely not going to pursue him but he would flourish in Mullen’s offense.

If he goes to SWAC, he’s nuts. With that craptastic OL and Frenchy still there, he needs to go elsewhere. What about WVU?

I agree he would be phenomenal in Mullen's offense. However, the damage this would do IMO to the image Dan has worked hard to build with recruits is not worth it. Dan is a very loyal coach and I think he is confident in his abilities to Coach up Franks. If Franks was a RS Freshman maybe you take Hurts here and let Franks sit another year. But I think it sends a bad message taking the kid after Franks appears to be turning the corner and has made large strides.

Following Locksley to Maryland seems to be a natural, since he has time to get things up and running. Why not use someone you know?

“Jalen Hurts to the Transfer Portal” sounds like a command from a cheesy sci-fi show. Somehow I imagine him materializing as a 4th and 10 Razorbacks QB and saying “oh boy!”

Can't see how he goes to FSU with fracois coming back. Cant imagine either qb would be happy. Miami makes a lot of sense right now

Is "the transfer portal" like a chamber that you go into and it transports you through space and time to the school you're transferring to?
