Logistically, how do Israeli jets get to Iran? Did Jordan, Iraq, and/or Syria give permission for overflight? Do stealth aircraft just sneak through? What about aerial refueling? Tankers aren’t stealthy ( as far as I know).
F-15E Strike Eagle can go round-trip from most of Israel to most of Iran without refueling. Jordanian, Iraqi, and Syrian air defense against an F-15E flying at 60k is either a sternly-worded letter or hoping for a lucky shot and none of those three want to poke the bear.
Rumors are they took out a lot of Iranian generals in strikes and this is going to be a multi-day operation. If true Iran is going to strike back as best they can. I guess we will see how good a job Israel did knocking out their offensive capability.
I think some of those countries govts talk a good game but in reality want Iran kept in check. As far as Syria Israel probably doesn't even care what they think.
I kmow nobody likes Harris but let's take a moment to appreciate that we aren't seeing a post from her along the lines of "ISRAEL DOESN'T RESPECT WEAK AND INEFFECTUAL TRUMP! THIS NEVER WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF I WERE PRESIDENT BUT WE ARE A LAUGHING STOCK TO THE REST OF THE WORLD AFTER ELECTING A CLOWN IN ORANGE MAKEUP!"
Israel’s ability to locate/track targets and apparent precision in hitting them is impressive. Good results if true.
The Cyber war must be waging full on right now. The real heroes are the nerdy cyber security people. Hopefully the US grid isn’t compromised.
