You can see the impact craters, so you can tell something. The professional analyst can tell if the craters are in the right place (I myself cannot). To your point, what you can’t tell is what happened on the inside. Atmospheric analysis can give you a little, but the main thing is going to be human and signal intelligence coming from inside Iran, what the Iranians are assessing the damage to be. And my guess is that’s going to take them some time to sort out for themselves.
