    St. Augustine!
With a little extra time today, I started wondering about the long-term changes of this virus.

The simple handshake came to mind. Once a symbol of someone's promise, greeting, the friendliest of gestures that could even be used to transmit the kind of person you are. It could bind an agreement as surely as a signature back in the day.

And now... well, now we know viruses are so much more easily transmitted by touching.

So will we outlaw the once-powerful handshake by social pressures or otherwise?

I'd hate to see it go, but could losing it make it all of us healthier in the long run?

And if so, how about the hug, something we children of the 60s encouraged as the universal first step to say 'hello, I love, won't you tell me your name...'

What will a world be like without those in the long view...

I wasn't interested in shaking hands before, now I have a formal reason. It's a useless social construct that only has significance to dudes I REALLY don't want to have to touch in any way.

Disgruntled coaches will have a reason to rejoice after losing to the Gators. No one will second guess their choice not to congratulate Mullen.

I never liked shaking hands anyway. I prefer hair sniffing.

No creature on Earth was created by God more perfect than the loyal dog. We should all be sniffing butts.

Now I understand why The Spur dog preferred the fist bump. I don't even want to know what those locker rooms were like.:eek::D:D

And dragging them across the living room carpet. It's much cheaper than a bidet in the event of another toilet paper crisis.

How did we ever survive before this? As George Carlin once said, “Your immune system needs practice.”.
