And how is that determination made? So then who flew the drones? Nobody knows. My guess it was somebody with great flying abilities trained by the USA. Makes sense.

How can you point at Iran? You simply have no facts at all unless you consider Fox news, Trump and Pompeo as a fact machine.

Iran's most recent activities are almost certainly a response to Trump's "maximum pressure" sanctions on Iran. Not that they were ever "good guys". They have been active supporters of Assad in Syria and Hezbollah and Hamas for years and have continued to develop more sophisticated conventional weapons but their recent attacks on tankers in the Persian Gulf and the attack on the Saudi oil facility are a direct response to the reimposition of sanctions following our unilateral decision to rescind the nuclear agreement.

And I stand by my assertion that it is clearly a focus for him. So what's your beef. Because he hasnt done it yet that it makes you righteous or something. Did I ever say a date and time for his playtime? No. So let it go and let me have my opinion without your condescending nonsense.

Is it so hard to buy a bunch of drones off of Amazon and strap explosives to them?

Buy enough drones on one order and Amazon will ship them with the explosives already strapped on. (Free shipping!)

You are welcome to your opinion, however if you want people to take it serious it needs to have some facts that support it. Thus far the history of Iran's blatant acts and lack of Trump crushing them do not support your hypothesis that Trump has some grand plan to start a war with Iran at the behest of the KSA...

If criticism of your opinion sounds condescending, sorry but that's because your opinion doesn't seem to be based in reality(in this case).

Are you saying it's Trumps fault that Iran continues to attack and foment terrorism against its neighbors and others in the region?

I don't understand why Trump doesn't love the Ayatollah just like he loves Kim Jong Un and Putin. What does he have against the tyrant?

Oh, wait, I know. He hasn't met him yet. One meeting and they're bound to fall in love.

"But Iraqi observers say the attack on Abqaiq involved three drones and three cruise missiles. The cruise missile is believed to be the Quds-1. A version of the Quds-1, using a small jet engine (model PBS TJ100 ) manufactured in the Czech Republic, is produced in Iran for the Houthis. Nothing specific is known of the range of the Quds-1 but experts say it is a version of Iran’s Soumar cruise missile. Ẉith its 43 pound Czech turbine engine, the Quds-1 probably carries a smaller payload than the Soumar, which could have a Russian or Chinese engine. (The Soumar is said to resemble the Russian Kh55SM cruise missile.)"

    Why Deception?
It would have been strongly in Iran’s interest to make the attacks on the Saudi oil facilities look like they were launched by the Houthis. The Houthis were happy to take responsibility for an attack that may have destroyed half of Saudi Arabia’s daily oil production. Most reports say the destruction of the Saudi facilities has cut oil supplies by five million barrels per day. Saudi oil output has been down in 2019 delivering less than 10 million barrels per day. The loss of Abgqaiq, which removes impurities from Saudi oil before being shipped from the Kingdom may mean the loss in output could even be greater. Oil prices are already surging upwards.

The previous attack launched from Iraqi territory was designed to avoid Saudi and US air defenses, particularly the Patriot (MIM-104) surface to air missile system. Previous Houthi drone attacks had been aimed to neutralize the Patriot system by destroying its surveillance and targeting radars. In this latest attack, however, it seems the main idea was to avoid the Patriot system altogether by attacking from behind (from the north) where the Patriot is not looking. To make the problem even more difficult for the Saudis defending their oil facilities, the attack featured a swarming-type scenario (multiple UAV’s) mixed with cruise missiles, meaning the attack would come from different operating altitudes to confuse Saudi and US radars

What the hell? Woke expecting some action. Are bone spurs rampant in the kingdom?

& I’m sure Israel doesn’t plan to do a thing.

We don’t have any allies over there. they won’t even take care of themselves

. Pretty easy to do since their allies the Houthi’s claimed credit and the Houthi’s don’t have the capability for such a precision strike. The information was not from FOX. Suggest you follow the links I posted. NBC reported from information from the IC that the missiles were launched from Iran. So did CNN.

U.S. intel shows cruise missiles fired at Saudi oil facility came from Iran, officials say

The attack on a major Saudi oil facility originated geographically from Iranian territory, with a series of low-altitude cruise missiles fired from at least one location in the western region of the country, according to two U.S. officials familiar with the latest intelligence.

The intelligence assessment draws a more clear link between the attack and Iran, and it could worsen tensions between Washington and Tehran.

Three U.S. officials previously told NBC News there was extremely compelling evidence showing the origination point of the strikes, and one official with direct knowledge described that evidence as imagery.

Attack on a major Saudi oil facility originated from Iran, U.S. intelligence indicates

A congressional source says Democrats familiar with the details do not dispute that the attack was carried out by Iran — an important signal of bipartisan agreement amid great uncertainty about claims made by the Trump administration.

“This attack had a level of sophistication we have not seen before,” the congressional source said. “You will not see Democrats pushing back on the idea that Iran was behind it.”

No. But when Trump upped the ante so did Iran. Or to rephrase the statement, Iran became more desperate after Trump put the squeeze on the country especially considering that the US unilaterally nullified an agreement within which Iran was in compliance at the time.

Even if they have evidence that Iran did it. So What!!

This is SA's fight not ours.
Sell them more military equipment. Let them spend their money not US taxpayer money.

Its a regional fight between SA and Iran. Provide logistics. Sell them equipment.

DO NOT send more American assets at the taxpayers expense. Do not launch missiles or fire ordinance from ships. That is again wasting taxpayer money that will need to be replaced at a higher expense to the taxpayer.

Now more than ever we should be using this opportunity to ween off of Saudi oil.
